:{{ping|DrFleischman}} I will be putting in a request for clarification this week. I would have put it in last week but Arbcom hasn't seen fit to respond to my last request. --] ] 05:18, 17 April 2017 (UTC) | |||

Easter break
Greeetings Coffee! I'm sorry to see you blocked even though I haven't looked in detail at the events which led to this unfortunate situation. I hope you won't get too demoralized and will join the editing community again after this forced Easter break. WP needs you! — JFG 22:16, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
- You're not unwanted here Coffee, so don't not come back, please. Anythingyouwant (talk) 22:41, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
Get back
Undo the talkpage deletion, you've done nothing wrong beyond being an emotional human being. Far too often these super-admins overlook the egregious personal attacks which aren't ever retracted or apologised for, yet swoop in, block punitively, and disappear again. You don't deserve such a punitive block, in fact you need a little pat on the back for having the balls to go back to The ed17 and apologise for your behaviour (only to be chided once again, it has to be said). The episode had been closed down, but apparently we have admin monitors who can act with impunity. Please don't be dissuaded, come back fighting. The Rambling Man (talk) 22:19, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
- I'm still waiting Coff-meister. These super-admins need to answer for their actions. C'mon. The Rambling Man (talk) 03:53, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
Arbitration remedies
Hi Coffee, sorry about your block. I know nothing about that and I've always seen as a fine administrator. In any case, this can't be right. The portion of WP:AC/DS you cite is clearly intended to be about appeals of editor sanctions. More to the point however, I'm not seeking to appeal. I want to know how one asks for the removal of an active arbitration restriction. Say if the reasons the restriction were put in place have become obsolete. There has to be some way for the community weigh in on when restrictions should be placed or removed, short of going to arbcom. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 04:28, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Pardon me for butting in but I doubt that Coffee cares a jot for this right now, maybe ask a super-admin like Bishonen to help. The Rambling Man (talk) 04:31, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- "Super-admin?" How are your repeated comments here not a clear violation of your ArbCom sanctions? Shouldn't you be held accountable? To quote:
- "The Rambling Man is prohibited from insulting and/or belittling other editors. The Rambling Man finds himself tempted to engage in prohibited conduct, he is to disengage and either let the matter drop or refer it to another editor to resolve.
- If however, in the opinion of an uninvolved administrator, The Rambling Man does engage in prohibited conduct, he may be blocked for a duration consistent with the blocking policy. The first four blocks under this provision shall be arbitration enforcement actions and may only be reviewed or appealed at the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. Should a fifth block prove necessary, the blocking administrator must notify the Arbitration Committee of the block via a Request for Clarification and Amendment so that the remedy may be reviewed."
- Suggest you do some striking above, drop the stick, and count yourself fortunate. Jusdafax 08:52, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- There's no insult or belittlment, just a clear statement of fact, that a punitive block of a week was handed out after two admins had already settled the issue. That is problematic behaviour, whether you like it or not. Now please stop diverting attention away from this serious issue, thanks. The Rambling Man (talk) 21:14, 15 April 2017 (UTC)

Blocked administrators
Incorrect assessment on requirement and followed up on editor's talk page. Mkdw 22:56, 15 April 2017 (UTC) |

Hello - recall - I see you have a checquered editing history, https://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Special:Log&page=User%3ACoffee&type=block it is my understanding that administrators with blocks should require the reconfirmation of community support and offer themselves for reselection, as, if you had been blocked recently and stood for advanced powers you would have certainly been rejected. thanks Govindaharihari (talk) 12:11, 15 April 2017 (UTC)

I'm sorry
Coffee, clearly you and I became very heated at each other during that RfA. I'm probably the one who wore down your patience and lit the agitation in you that was only compounded and fueled by others. I want you to know that, I don't want you to leave.--v/r - TP 12:48, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Enjoy your Easter Holidays and consider returning when they're over (or however long of a wikibreak you'd like to take). Last I checked, Coffee doesn't burn you out, it's meant to re-invigorate. At least that's what all the coffee drinkers tell me, I get by on tea personally. Mr rnddude (talk) 13:28, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
Probably nothing
This is probably nothing more than the standard 'tis a shame comment, and it'll probably just be ignored like all the rest. I don't think you particularly care about my opinion, but I know things have been entirely too heated lately, and I think everyone has had their turn saying some stupid shit, myself included. But I don't like coming laying wreaths on the headstones of lost editors, especially if I, in my own stupidity have managed to contribute in any way to that. If I have I'm sorry. Hopefully I'll meet you out there on an article soon. The rest be damned. TimothyJosephWood 13:34, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
