== Misplaced Pages and copyright ==
] Hello TalismanOnline, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. All or some of your addition(s) to ] have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of ] from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Misplaced Pages, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

*You can only copy/translate a ''small'' amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double ]s (") and cite the source using an ]. You can read about this at ] in the sections on "text". See also ], for how to cite sources here.
*Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information ''in your own words and structure'', in proper ]. Following the source's words too closely can create ], so it is not permitted here; see ]. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, .) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to ] information and to demonstrate that the content is not ].
*Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is ]. You may also want to review ].
*If ''you'' own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you ''may'' be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See ].
*In ''very rare cases'' (that is, for sources that are ] or ]), it ''may'' be possible to include greater portions of a source text. ''However'', please seek help at the ] before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources ''may not'' be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you ''do'' confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see ] for the steps you need to follow.
*Also note that Misplaced Pages articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Misplaced Pages project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in ].

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be ] from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. ''You copied the content from here and here Misplaced Pages articles need to be written in your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously.'' Thank you. <!--Template:uw-copyright-new--> ] (]) 09:41, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

i need help how i add colored tabel example: https://en.wikipedia.org/List_of_natural_disasters_in_Great_Britain_and_Ireland

Those are generally achieved by adding CSS style tags (rather than inline color tags). You can find out more at: Misplaced Pages:Manual of Style/Tables. Hope this helps. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:42, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
In particular, I don't think you can add colours via the Visual Editor; you will have to switch to editing the source (via the pen icon at the top right) to add the colour information to the code for the individual rows. You should also take a look at WP:Accessability; Misplaced Pages content should also be available to the colour-blind; thus it's considered good practice to use colours that people with colour blindness can still distinguish. I still want know how to add colros in tabel like (List of natural disasters in British and Ireland) i still not understand the two users from above i sure they want help but not was very helpful please help me how to add a color in tabel

As Huon said - If you use the Visual Editor - switch to "source editor". then if you look at List of natural disasters in Great Britain and Ireland the first entry of the main table (in edit mode) is
|] || style="background: rgb(245,222,179)" | Prolonged ] || Long lasting volcanic winters following the ] have been hypothesized to have killed every human not living in Africa at the time.
|-

The double bars separate the columns - the style="background: rgb(245,222,179)" sets the background for that cell in RGB color model format. Ronhjones  17:19, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

Silviu (talk) 17:25, 23 April 2017 (UTC) thanks you

edit conflict:You should check the formatting for wikitables. You can find a Help page starting here that describes wikimarkup for tables. In particular, if you go to the Advanced Formatting section, there are style tags that define the background color fill and text color. If you are adding color to the table in order to convey or clarify information (As I presume you wish to), then be sure you don't forget to add a Legend defining what the colors mean. The template for adding a legend is found at that link and includes instructions. Good luck and happy editing. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 17:27, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of 2017 Measles outbreak

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2017 Measles outbreak requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.healio.com/infectious-disease/vaccine-preventable-diseases/news/online/%7B6d142c09-64ca-4b02-aa95-db8f7be9c97f%7D/measles-outbreak-in-romania-grows-to-3400-cases-threatens-region. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines.
