They were used by the ] to maintain a presence on the aquatic worlds under its rule. Many of the machines used by the ] were modified for aquatic use, including ], ] and ]. The Aquatic trooper's armour was based on the light design of the ]. It covers a two-piece environmental body glove that gives protection from uncomfortable temperature extremes or toxic water environments. Their armour is more flexible than standard Stormtrooper designs. The aquatic troopers regular weapon is a blaster rifle/speargun hybrid.
