Later he is found by Korr and Katarn inside the late ]'s Bast Castle on ], stealing ] energy with the ''Scepter of Ragnos'' under Tavion's order. They find that Penin had been turned to the ] and becomes the new apprentice of ] ], who is the mastermind behind the cult. Penin engages Korr in a ] duel but loses, and Tavion saves him. |

A distress signal from Rosh is later picked up by Katarn and Korr, and it leads them to Taspir III where a large facility of the ] is located. Korr finds Penin before Katarn and is furious at him for his betrayal. Katarn also warns Korr not to give into anger. The player can then choose to let Penin live and remain on the path of light, or kill him and turn to the dark side. |
