Block Z is an upcoming Philippine zombie film directed by Mikhail Red and starring Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, Ian Veneracion, Maris Racal, Dimples Romana, McCoy de Leon, Yves Flores, and Ina Raymundo. It follows a group of university students who try to survive the undead during a deadly viral outbreak.

Production
Block Z will mark the sixth feature film for director Mikhail Red, following Rekorder (2013), Birdshot (2016), Neomanila (2017), Eerie (2019) and the forthcoming Dead Kids. The film is also said to be Red's "most ambitious project yet". Screen Anarchy reported that filming on Block Z had begun in March 2019, and is scheduled to conclude in late May. Shooting will take place in Manila and Quezon City.
According to Red, the film will feature fast-running zombies in the same vein as in 28 Days Later.
Release
The film is tentatively scheduled for a 2019 theatrical release.
