:::::::: Yes, it was. Best concert of my life - which was full of exceptional concerts so far. - I just checked numbers: 82k+ viewers for Moteverdi, 2,6k+ for the Vespers, 2.1k+ for L'Orfeo, - good to know that Brian's work got noticed. I woke up with the idea to make a table with three columns: what vespers liturgy prescribes - what Monteverdi composed - the combination in something like we had, a service, offering antiphons also which he didn't compose because they change with the occasion. It's like prescribed parts of the mass (Kyrie, Gloria ...) vs. the changing ones (introit, offerory). Will have to think about how to organize that. - What I should do is take care of the many open requests on my talk ... which I all postponed saying wait for Monteverdi ;) --] (]) 06:32, 16 May 2020 (UTC) | |||

IPv6 user blocked
I noticed that you blocked all four users I mentioned at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Judaism#IPv6_user_needs_careful_review. Is that coincidence? What was the reason they were blocked? Debresser (talk) 10:48, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Debresser: Yes, it is a coincidence; I hadn't noticed your message ... I found that IP on my watchlist. I've been spending all day trying to deal with their edits ... I'm going to check the rest of my watchlist now, and might continue later. I've gotten to about 13 January (UTC) on the range ... Graham87 11:08, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
sorry about reverting your macaron edit
I lost track of which was the original version and which was the revert. Petit four and alfajor are both legitimate articles. I've put both in now. Dan Bloch (talk) 02:58, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Danbloch: That's alright. Some edits by the IP range I'm dealing with seem relatively OK, like that one, but many ... aren't. Your compromise sounds good. Graham87 03:00, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
Import of articles (Kroos / Resistance Fighters)
Dear Graham87, thank you for getting back to us. Your colleagues from the German Misplaced Pages told us that we need to contact the staff of the English Misplaced Pages to be able to create the articles in another language. If I understand you correctly we have to request an import into our userspace in the English Misplaced Pages, then we complete the translation and then we'll import it to the main space? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Btvwiki (talk • contribs) 12:14, 12 February 2020 (UTC)

- Today's Alte Liebe became especially meaningful after yesterday's funeral. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:25, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: Awwww wow. Graham87 12:33, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
- ... made me de-tag the album article, and at least begin the church, and plan the last song which is only a redirect so far. When I wrote Alte Liebe I had no idea that she'd die so soon, "always too soon" - as the song says (Der Weg - on YouTube, and you get the emotions without German.) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:01, 28 February 2020 (UTC)

Move failed
I made a mistake. I wanted to move Prussians' Glory to the correct title Prussia's Glory, but I moved to Prussias' Glory. Can you correct this? Thank you! Grimes2 (talk) 21:01, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

Your recent block of Mlopezer
Hi. Not meaning any disrespect here, but as an outside observer I think your indef block of Mlopezer is more than a little harsh. To me it doesn't seem as though they meet any of the points discussed at WP:DISRUPT, and they have never been warned for any of the dozen or so examples of overlinking or any of their other edits. To be clear I'm not in any way connected to Mlopezer, I just saw your revert at Amanda Reid on my watchlist. Regards, Gricehead (talk) 10:10, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

Who do you suspect this is a sock of? Should a SPI be filed? Mjroots (talk) 20:11, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Mjroots: As I found out later, it's Allenroyboy. Graham87 02:06, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- I was about to check if sock edits were reverted since and noticed that you already did, many thanks, —PaleoNeonate – 19:54, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Wow and I just learned that you are using JAWS... I'm impressed that it's possible to navigate article history and evaluate revisions as well. Thanks again, —PaleoNeonate – 20:03, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- @PaleoNeonate: No worries ... I reverted as many of those edits as I could. Anything I'd want to do here is accessible with a screen reader ... I'm glad that MediaWiki and Misplaced Pages are well-designed enough to make this possible. `Graham87 02:39, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Recent IP Block - March 2020
I applaud you for dealing with IP 109.158.146.23 - that behaviour is totally unacceptable of them. But considering what I saw on their talk page, I think the IP is only here to be disruptive; they obviously aren't taking notice of the block seriously enough. GUtt01 (talk) 18:32, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- @GUtt01: Yeah I did notice that ... I thought I'd just let them be, unless they did anymore of that, which they haven't so far. Graham87 03:08, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
Merging history
Can you help me merge User:KAVEBEAR/sandbox/Hui Aloha Aina with Hui Aloha ʻĀina? I had the article waiting in my sandbox until another user created a stub. The bulk of the content from sandbox was merged into the article so it is important to restore the history of the article from its inception in 2016. KAVEBEAR (talk) 15:35, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
- @KAVEBEAR: Done, even though it's not strictly necessary in terms of attribution of authors (which is what history-merging is technically for) (since you were the only editor of the sandbox). However, it's nice to have the time of the edits readily available and there were no overlapping edits, making the history still fairly straightforward. Graham87 15:51, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
- And it's also nice to have the *number* of edits you made readily available too ... I forgot about that! Graham87 15:55, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Unsourced edits
Greetings, why would I site a source such as a birthday or an organization they are in that is clearly available everywhere? Are you the edit supervisor? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sheknowsallthings (talk • contribs) 23:55, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
- Ok, I just realized what you are saying. So to update a birthday, I would have to add the source, even if the birthday is not on the page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sheknowsallthings (talk • contribs) 00:03, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
How do you edit?
How is it possible to edit when you are totally blind? Do you type, or use something different?
I'm just interested. Commuter3 (talk • contribs) 05:29, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Sources
Quick question, do we have the capability of uploading the document as a source? Reason being, I am seeing a lot of incorrect information and the cite links used don't work or a loop hole link (they are siting a source that is incorrect as well). For instance, Pauline Oberdofer Minor, the info about her birth date is from the Census (through ancestry.com); if I send the cite the actually web link, it will come up blank. Are we looking for the actual link to the given information (with the info shown) or simply where the info is being stored? Is there a possibility that I can send you the documents to show what I am doing is correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sheknowsallthings (talk • contribs) 21:42, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

Ear Canal modification
Hello, I need your help with the modifications I made to the Ear Canal article and you reverted. I am in fact a licensed audiologist and ear anatomy is an important part of my job. I was reading the Misplaced Pages article and I noticed a big mistake, which I corrected. It is the first time I do that on Misplaced Pages. Please correct this, I am not familiar enough with Misplaced Pages and editing rules, nor with messages and talk pages, all I wish is to see that mistake corrected. Thank you for your help. Dark Light D (talk) 14:30, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry to say, I do not understand how this message system works. Even with this message I don't know if I am doing things right, so bear with me.
- I checked multiple sources and found some of them indicating one thing and others indicating just the opposite.
Frankly, I'm now at this point where I didn't believe that such a simple thing could change over time.
- I put below two sources that sustain my info, but I'm confused as to what I found, so my guess would be to leave things as they are. Live and learn, apparently...
- Thank you, this has been a new experience. Dark Light D (talk) 11:13, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

The citiation i had suggested was for : "Antibiotics are given to treat any bacterial infection present". This is unsubstanciated claim in the article which can be validated by following citiation: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/jvim.14627 Following is the statement in the reference document which proves that vets gives antibiotics for treatment of kennel cough or bronchitis: "Doxycycline or minocycline is commonly used by veterinarians for this syndrome and is likely to have a therapeutic effect for pets with suspected Mycoplasma spp. bronchitis".Great Indian Artist (talk) 21:14, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
