:@] I will consider your suggestion to stick to the source. However, the whole article is a criticism of academia in Ukraine, I was looking for a way to summarize the content. She mentions her experience at the university, but her criticism is generalized: "''Ukraine and its Bandera cult: “Illiberal tendencies are getting stronger.” A historian is critical in her home country for being critical of Bandera fanaticism and Holocaust glorification. When Marta Havryshko receives the first death threats, a red line is crossed for her. :Havryshko denounces daily UPA and OUN rehabilitation even from official Ukrainian channels: "''Today, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine marks 14 October as the Day of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, the military wing of OUN(b). :Hi {{ping|Oqwert}}, when I spoke of "disruptive action" it was certainly not referring to the nationality of the user, but to the propensity of Ukrainian-speaking users to modify the English Misplaced Pages in a fraudulent way, as some time ago on Stepan Bandera's page. I am not saying that by "disruptive" you were referring to the user's nationality, but that bringing it out does not help at all and should be avoided, as it may be seen as hostile or unwelcoming to other users; focus on the content of the edit instead of attempting to categorize anyone based on what language they speak regardless of how you believe they can be generalized. If you suspect large scale, organized vandalism is taking place, use the article talk page to discuss the issue or report it to the administrators in severe/persistent cases. It is also good practice to ] users who make disruptive edits on their talk page if no previous warning has been issued since those edits were made in order to prevent further disruption. ] (]) 15:05, 1 February 2021 (UTC) | |||

It tells: ''"Summarize how actions and achievements are characterized by reliable sources without giving undue weight to recent events."''. It tells the following: (a) "summarize" - as opposed to indiscriminate citation, (b) "actions and achievements" rather than claims on blogs, and (c) "without giving undue weight to recent events." I think you are giving an undue weight not to recent ''events'', but to comments (mostly on blogs) that had happen 12 years ago. - Can you stop adding incorrect grammar to Azov Brigade as you have twice now while attempting to change the same sentence here and here. The sentence is perfectly fine as it is, and now you even removed the "-like symbol" portion, effectively adding your own WP:SYNTH explicitly calling it a Wolfsangel. Rather hypocritical when claiming to make the text more accurate to the source.
TylerBurden (talk) 18:24, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
- @TylerBurden I apologise if my contributions contains grammatical errors, English is not my mother tongue. The definition of "Idea of the Nation", from what we read in the sources, is an interpretation of the Azov Brigade. In their logo, in fact, they are accused not only of having a Wolfsangel but also a black Sun, both Nazi symbols.
- CNN: "But that status came with baggage – the far-right views of some members and neo-Nazi insignia. These included the black sun, “a pagan symbol appropriated by Nazis for their pseudo-religion,” and the Wolfsangel, “a symbol that far-right extremists have also adopted,” Ritzmann said." Mhorg (talk) 17:19, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- You still need to follow the cited source, which is this Guardian reference, which describes it as "reminiscent of the Nazi Wolfsangel". Key word being "reminiscent".
- I have now clarified the sentence based on this source. TylerBurden (talk) 17:39, 29 August 2024 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Manyareasexpert. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Disinformation in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. "Anti-government" is not in source. Another source you added is not on the article subject. Please stop. If you continue to violate Misplaced Pages's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Far-right politics in Ukraine, you may be blocked from editing. This is apparently a chronic issue to the point another arbitration request may need to be filed since you apparently just will not follow the sources that you cite, maybe you thought you would get away with it since the source was in a different language. This is a long-term WP:TENDENTIOUS issue. TylerBurden (talk) 15:01, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
- @TylerBurden I will consider your suggestion to stick to the source. However, the whole article is a criticism of academia in Ukraine, I was looking for a way to summarize the content. She mentions her experience at the university, but her criticism is generalized: "Ukraine and its Bandera cult: “Illiberal tendencies are getting stronger.” A historian is critical in her home country for being critical of Bandera fanaticism and Holocaust glorification. When Marta Havryshko receives the first death threats, a red line is crossed for her. The historian, who was born in the west of Ukraine, no longer feels safe in her homeland 'Ukraine is glossing over the symbolism of Nazi collaborators today', says Havryshko in conversation with the Berliner Zeitung".
- Havryshko denounces daily UPA and OUN rehabilitation even from official Ukrainian channels: "Today, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine marks 14 October as the Day of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, the military wing of OUN(b). Posters glorify UPA heroes and hide inconvenient past." Also, consider that the person is also covering the topic of the Ukrainian far right on other sources such as France24, so she is considered a reliable source. - For example, another part of the text in which the criticism is generalized to the Ukrainian education system: "The leaders during the Second World War were Andriy Melnyk and Stepan Bandera. “However, the fact that they worked with the Wehrmacht is kept secret and swept under the carpet”, criticizes Havryshko, ”even in current Ukrainian historiography”".
- Can we summarize that these things are taught to Ukrainian students? The reference to Ukrainian historiography is clear.--Mhorg (talk) 09:59, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- It is certainly up to you to "consider" following basic Misplaced Pages policy. I am just letting you know what will happen if you don't. Since you are again directly quoting Havryshko, that claim needs to be correctly attributed to her, other than that I don't see a problem with including it. In fact I'll just see about incorpirating it now since you may choose to get creative again with the source. TylerBurden (talk) 19:23, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
Notice of Arbitration Enforcement noticeboard discussion
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a report involving you at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement regarding a possible violation of an Arbitration Committee decision. The thread is Mhorg. Thank you. ManyAreasExpert (talk) 13:35, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement topic ban
The following topic ban now applies to you:
You are indefinitely topic banned from Eastern Europe, broadly construed.
You have been sanctioned as a result of this AE report.
This topic ban is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration/Eastern Europe#Final decision and, if applicable, the contentious topics procedure. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. Please read WP:TBAN to understand what a topic ban is. If you do not comply with this topic ban, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything above is unclear to you. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 01:55, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- I was too late for the above discussion, so will point out here that Mhorg's WP:TENDENTIOUS edits and the resulting topic ban related to Eastern Europe includes the article Nord Stream pipelines sabotage, due to it being connected to Ukraine (with the now topic banned user having made misleading, Ukraine-related edits unsupported by cited sources in that article, e.g. ).
