Sam, why not contribute to this article rather than hack it to pieces, you seem to have some knowledge in this area? The object is to grow and enrich Misplaced Pages, not destroy it or reduce it to stubs.

:That's a splash page for the Kershaw Knives site, I see nothing about Mr Collins and the speedsafe there. Provide a source that Mr Collins invented the Speedsafe. According to those print articles, Ken invented the Speedsafe. Are you threataning me with the sleeping dogs lie comment? Again, I don't understand this hostility. This article started because of another article about assissted opening. From the information I have at my disposal, Mr Onion invented the speedsafe mechanism while fixing a part on a motorcycle.
