The Misty Mountains were created by ], who wanted to make it difficult for ], who often rode about hunting, to pass. Their most important peaks are ], Carn Dûm, ], ] and Methedras. The most important passes are the ], ] and the ]. Under the Misty Mountains are the ] realm of ] and the ] mines in which ] stumbles across the ].
