I foolishly didn't research or use sandbox first and violated what you've mentioned - though it wasn't paid contribution, now I've read up on it all, it understandably was a conflict of interest as I'm an employee writing about my employer. I'd be grateful if I could get a username change, even if I'm not unblocked - just so the company name isn't on the site in a negative way.
