Vandalism

This page and others are currently undergoing repeated attacks from IP addresses belonging to TV Cable S.A. An ongoing Abuse Report on this can be found at WP:AbRep - Please report all vandal attacks from IP addresses starting 200.x.x.x and especially either 200.118.x.x or 200.74.x.x on my talk page User talk:Heligoland. If you leave a vandalism warning, please also consider adding {{ISP|TV Cable S.A.}} to try and deter further vandalism and/or checking other contributions from that IP address for other vandalism. Why is this article continually used as a sandbox?

Why do people randomly change this article? Do people just randomly search for an article that no one cares about? Seriously! I just had to remove a superman pic. TchussBitc 03:02, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

I have no idea - the article on paper used to attract the same attention - but it doesn't anymore. Looking at whatlinkshere - the ips concerned are coming from a dynamic cable TV service provider range (US based I think). It's probably a single bad/bored user. Megapixie 17:04, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Actually it is the same user from Colombia with nothing better to do. It is not used as a sandbox but it is pure vandalism. -- Alexf 16:22, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

Remember

I still remember the TPS-43B, the german version of that radar device, 6 instead of 5 rpm, stationed on the Wasserkuppe "Abgesetzter Technischer Zug 233" of the Luftwaffe in Germany until arround 1995/96. I stayed there for 9 Month for my military service and I was involved into servicing that device. I still should have somewhere the analogue part of the circuit diagram of the sender and reciever which was built in into one container (shelter). Another shelter was for a computer from Hughes, no chip integrated CPU or other chipset, all was TTL discrete logics, and the 1200 Baud modem which sent the datas to Lauda and Winterberg was big as a washing machine... I still remember that we had to replace often the coolers of the sender, they were dying like flys. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.184.250.17 (talk) 12:29, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Article improvement

For the last few days, I've been working on this article aiming to improve it to a "B-class" level. I have found some online sources that I've added to it; and will add more content from these sources in the next few days.
The problem is, I couldn't find a source which lists "all" the TPS-43 users (past and current), whis probably are several according to what is suggested in "Mobile Military Radar" website. Because of this I could only provide a bit of detail on Argentina's use. Additionally, I was unable to find relevant "bibliographical" (i.e.: printed, rather than online) sources, to add to this article.
Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks & regards, DPdH (talk) 03:08, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Users

Under users, it’s worth adding that after the Argentine unit was captured by the British, it was refurbished and used by the RAF (1ACC).

It was deployed to Episkopi in Cyprus at the start of Gulf War 1 to cover while the T84 T Olympus was undergoing a turntable change.

It was due to be deployed to the Gulf but suffered a compressor failure after servicing (my servicing!) due an undetected hole in the waveguide.

It has since been scrapped - unrelated to the above issue. Spuggly (talk) 19:50, 11 August 2018 (UTC)

Do you have any sources? -- Alexf 20:04, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
