I guess you want to get a bunch ready before you go on travel. It takes longer to process the formerFA templates due to the page moving, and there are 800 or so articles with {{tl|featured}}. Then I suppose I'll go through the articles with {{tl|formerFA}}, {{tl|formerFA2}}, {{tl|farcfailed}}, {{tl|FARpassed}} and variations. Speaking of which, I noticed someone already created a redirect to the ArticleHistory template - another thing for code to look out for. Still finding hidden things from curious links in the archives, which slows things down. The page info generated before was filtered so it had a good concentration of FA-related pages. Other versions with less filtering had 1400 and 900 pages. The latter is probably a reasonable estimate of the FAC pages not linked on appropriate talk pages, but includes about 100 redirects in the WP:FAC prefix. ] 11:33, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Diligence
Went through some of the J. K. Rowling archived discussions from the past few months, out of curiosity. Your diligence in trying to clean up the article, your tireless attempts to keep a civil environment all-around, and most of all your continued efforts to remain impartial and mindful of proper policies and guidelines, impressed me, regardless of whether I agreed or not with your suggested changes. Thanks for your work. LaughingManiac (talk) 23:00, 24 October 2024 (UTC) |
- Thank you, LaughingManiac and I hope you have a Happy New Year! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 00:16, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
Invitation to provide feedback
Inspired by Worm That Turned's re-RfA where he noted administrators don't get a lot of feedback or suggestions for improvement, I have decided to solicit feedback. I'm reaching out to you as you are currently one of the users I've selected as part of my recall process. I hope you will consider taking a few moments to fill out my feedback form. Clicking on the link will load the questions and create a new section on my user talk. Thanks for your consideration. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 16:03, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

Hello again
Hello again. Apologies for leaving this random message, especially since I know you are more semi-retired on here, but I just wanted to say that I hope you are doing well and having a great end of the year! I just wanted to send some kind words your way. Aoba47 (talk) 17:59, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- Just popping by to echo Aoba47's sentiment. I'm glad to see you're around here and there, and I hope I continue seeing you around. Wishing you and your family all the best for 2025, leaving behind what sounds like it has been a challenging 2024. Ajpolino (talk) 13:03, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- Happy New Year, Ajpolino! I am around as I'm able, but I'm not anticipating that 2025 will be any less challenging than 2024. It is wonderful to hear from you, and when/if I next get a breather, I will send you an email to update you on my absence. All the best, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 00:23, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

- Thank you for the kind words. I am sorry to hear that your year has been rough, but I am glad that I am able to help in any small way. Your words do the same for me. I am trying my best to remain optimistic and focused about the future. Just keeping my attention on things that I can control and ideally improve. It is always great to hear from you as well.
