However, the films mentioned above are so old that they were issued handwritten or typewritten ceretificates, instead of the digital ones we see today. I think ] is a Tamilian only. The source used that claims he was Telugu was for his political campaign (which makes sense since to run in Telugu states, it would help to say that you are Telugu and not an outsider). The reason why it is confusing is that if his father was Telugu why does he have the name "Varadarajan"?

@SaibaK - Thank you, ultimately we all are here to build an encyclopedia. I'm a big fan of the film myself, therefore I'll always make sure the page is well presented, in line with wikipedia's polices and at the same time, doesn't become too promotional.

Good to see you back :) I would suggest to change the section name or maybe create a complete new section "Impact and Legacy". In fact I had a plan to create the section with the previously said name. You are very good at creating good articles like Mahanati, don't you think the name "Reception by international filmmakers" doesn't look like a good section name. As I can't edit the article, I wish you to create a new section name "Impact and Legacy" or whatsoever that is in line for a good article, and move the current content from the "Reception by international filmmakers". Feels like a blatant COI and in the discussion I encouraged him to find the songs list via Google not by meeting him. He went on to create a random village article.
