i know that vandalism and false information may come up
but ai is more of a closed development community
but taking good wikipedia artcles parsing data from them to answer a specific question instead of looking for them could lift the very long articles which are hard to find specific information and make it easier for ordinary users scouting for info
one thing i would be worried about is the current political situation with ai,current events, blp’s especially politicians.

Hello Jimbo! It's been a long time since I've posted here. I was patrolling ] today and came across an IP's request related to an edit on your user page. They were blocked by ], the filter that prevents non-confirmed users editing other users' userpages. Your user page invites users to feel free to edit it, although you do mention at the top of the section that editors need to be autoconfirmed first. Would you want your userpage to be exempted from the filter, so that any user can edit it? As far as I know that's technically possible, although I'm not an edit filter manager.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to work the draft up enough to get it admitted to mainspace. It does make me wonder about what we do and don't include, our notability criteria, Articles for Creation (AfC) process, and collaborative ethos. Thanks so much for any help or guidance you can offer! Have a great 2025 and beyond. Thanks again. ] (]) 17:57, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

:To allow any user to edit the page there is a template you would need to add, probably called something like {{t|user page unblocked}}, but its name escapes me for now. — ]] 21:03, 7 September 2023 (UTC)

::I think people who patrol it have asked if kindly it could be left as it is, simply due to not much useful coming in from non-confirmed users, but a lot of nonsense. If I were on here 12 hours a day, I'd probably want to give it a whirl, but I wouldn't want to make work for kind people who are doing the patrolling.--] (]) 13:22, 8 September 2023 (UTC) |

Albert Percy Godber
Happy New Year Jimbo!!! I hope all is well with you and your team.
Could you or your page watchers help me with Draft:Albert Percy Godber? The draft has been declined and tagged up. It was then deleted years ago. I had it restored today after I came across one of his photos. I think he and his photography are fascinating for capturing aspects of New Zealand's transportation and industrial history. His work is in museum and library collections. At least one of his photographs has been used in a book. He photographed Maori sites.
FloridaArmy (talk) 17:57, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
