Hi Theroadislong, you commented on the draft wikipedia page on Jan Poolman that looks like it is has been copied and pasted from somewhere. This is not the case. I wrote the page myself - I prepared it in word and later in my wiki-sandbox. There are some citations in there but they are indicated by "". So if that is the only reason why you rejected the page I wonder if you can accept it after this response of me.

:The reason I thought it might have been copied and pasted from somewhere is the weird repeating of the phrase "brontekst bewerken". ] (]) 18:36, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
::Hi Theroadislong, ok I see your point - "brontekst bewerken" is Dutch and is there I think because I am new to this and I prepared the text in the Dutch wikipedia sandbox...and copy pasted it to the English wikipedia - it didn't catch my attention because I thought it was there because it was not published yet. I will remove those texts. And I will also work on your other comments by removing the succesfull / prolific wording. Will do so coming days and will resubmit. Thank you for reviewing the text so fast and to give me your feedback! Appreciated a lot.

::Hi theroadislong, thanks for checking my draft wikipage, still under construction... You commented the following:"Please don't add external links to the body of the draft, we don't use them." I am struggling a bit with this. So if I place a reference with the text - and there is a pdf or full text of it available, how can I best add the external link to the reference? Should I do this within the reference list? And I see in other wikipages a section with external links - can I create such a section and add relevant external links there? e.g. the researchgate external link shows the number of articles Jan Poolman has written but also the number of reads and citations, which give an impression whether he is indeed seen as an expert in the field of bacterial vaccines by others. ] (]) 16:45, 18 April 2024 (UTC)

== You Mentioned " Paid Editing " on my article ==
While I appreciate your feedback, I'm still at a loss to understand the sole criteria you are applying for notability for an artist, which is providing links to collections in public institutions. I have several problems with this criteria. First, this is the first time I'm hearing of it. It seems rather arbitrary. Second, there are literally hundreds of Misplaced Pages pages for artists that don't meet this standard. Perhaps not coincidentally, the majority of these are pages for male artists. I undertook the task of writing this entry based on my own assessment (as an internationally recognized and widely published art historian)of the notability of this individual. Moreover, I am answering the call of the Women Artist Project to narrow the gap between pages on Misplaced Pages for male and female artists. Also, Rychlak is notable for her role as both artist and curator. Her role as a leading authority on the Japanese American artist Isamu Noguchi with an extensive list of exhibitions and publications alone is noteworthy. I would really like to get this entry before someone from the Women Artist Project, who I believe would be positioned to provide the best feedback on this article. Would you be able to advise as to how that could be done? Thank you. ] (]) 23:44, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
:I am part of the Women in Red Project. One of the criteria for ] is having works in public collections, museums etc. Rychlak meets this critera, but you had no sources to support the collections, add those and I can accept the draft. ] (]) 05:50, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

First of all, I do not work for anybody. That is not a paid editing. I just found out that it's not covered by any Wikipedian. So, I wrote on it. Second, if you found anything promotional, you can remove that.

Happy New Year to you too.
thank you for your comment on my draft.
Please can you specify what parts in the content make it sound like an advertisement? The details mentioned are not advertising 24/7DCT, but just mentioning what the company does and its achievements - what do you suggest I remove or edit? Can you give me the specific wordings so that I can understand better?

According to ], the creative professional is supposed to have won "significant critical attention". A nomination for the the German Book Prize is considered highly prestigious in the German speaking literature community and there are always lots of mentionings of the fact in the media following such a nomination. Also, the Eichendorff Prize and the prizes of the Deutsche Schillerstiftung are very reputable. So, doesn't that identify the author as notable?

First of all, I do not work for anybody. That is not a paid editing. I just found out that it's not covered by any Wikipedian. So, I wrote on it. Second, if you found anything promotional, you can remove that.

Balkans Continued Fraction

Many thanks for your comment on the page I created. A secondary source that cites and reports about the conjecture is for instance the scholarly article in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2321440121 According to Misplaced Pages "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (often abbreviated PNAS or PNAS USA) is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary scientific journal. It is the official journal of the National Academy of Sciences, published since 1915, and publishes original research, scientific reviews, commentaries, and letters. According to Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2022 impact factor of 9.4. PNAS is the second most cited scientific journal, with more than 1.9 million cumulative citations from 2008 to 2018. " Wisdomagic (talk) 14:37, 25 December 2024 (UTC)

Then please add it to the draft which curently displays a single primary source. Theroadislong (talk) 15:24, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
Hello and a happy new year! I wonder if anything else is required (I am not super familiar with Wiki procedures) Cheers Widsomagic Wisdomagic (talk) 16:33, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Your draft Draft:The Balkans Continued Fraction is awaiting a review but as it has only two primary sources as references it is unlikely to be accepted. Theroadislong (talk) 16:38, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

Suggestions solved in draft article, thanks!

Thank you for the feedback. I have revised the article to adopt a more neutral tone and removed subjective language. Additionally, I have reworked the "Impact" section to avoid unsupported claims and clarified the details provided with reliable sources. Please let me know if further improvements are needed. RSA-Axp (talk) 10:39, 26 December 2024 (UTC)

I am fine with those of course, I resubmitted (not being familiar with wiki procedure I don't know if there is anything else I should do). Wisdomagic (talk) 07:39, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

Hi Theroadislong 👋

Dear theroadislong, I wrote the draft: Alef (company) article as best as I could, in a more neutral language, and removed any text that might be in favor of the company. But there is a problem. When I was editing the article, I mistakenly deleted the comments and warnings from it. If possible, please forgive me and please put it on my page again. I'm really grateful. Manikingr (talk) 10:42, 28 December 2024 (UTC)

(talk page watcher)@Manikingr: I've handled this. You could have looked in the edit history of the draft and selected a previous version to get the tags. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:35, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your attention, you are an exemplary editor Manikingr (talk) 14:55, 29 December 2024 (UTC)

Album the album was rewritten. Can we change the page name to Kuini Album since we notice there is already a Kuini page. Sarahalohi (talk) 22:32, 28 December 2024 (UTC)

On an entirely different topic, it looks like we've upset someone. Someone who's now registered a new account and is going around vengefully PRODding articles you and I created. Any guesses? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:31, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
Thanks... I’m not too concerned I even sent Sparta Teapot Museum to WP:AFD myself once being so embarrassed by it! the result was keep Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Sparta Teapot Museum. Theroadislong (talk) 08:54, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

Hi Theroadislong

Happy New Year to you too. Please can you specify what parts in the content make it sound like an advertisement? The details mentioned are not advertising 24/7DCT, but just mentioning what the company does and its achievements - what do you suggest I remove or edit? Can you give me the specific wordings so that I can understand better?

As for the resources, they are independent publications mentioning 24/7DCT, so I am a bit confused about your feedback. Kindly help me out here. DigitalCounseling (talk) 16:18, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

“just mentioning what the company does and its achievements” is pretty much the definition of advertising on Misplaced Pages. I declined your draft Draft:24/7 DCT because of this and the lack of evidence of passing WP:NORG. The ‘Playful Minds Therapy” and “services” section are entirely un sourced and promotional, do you have a conflict of interest by any chance? Theroadislong (talk) 16:25, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

Happy New Year & Thanks!

thanks for removing the education part of Carlisle, Massachusetts, i was gonna remove to to bring back the old school page, although, the source is from the old carlisle public school page, i was planning to move it, but i changed my mind. happy new year! Thanks for your review and feedback.

Could you help me understand if any of the references meet all the criteria? For example, The Park Record is a long established newspaper with significant coverage of Oston.Resing (talk) 23:55, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

The Park Record is good, spotify.com, IMDb and interviews are NOT reliable sources, Oston needs to pass the criteria at WP:NSINGER. Theroadislong (talk) 08:37, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
Thanks. I believe the two articles from The Park Record meet criteria 1.
"Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself" Resing (talk) 14:21, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

Draft:Great_Yarmouth_Arts_Festival

"just blatant advertising totally inappropriate." - I live in the town, and am not linked to the company so I am hardly advertising, what else is wrong with my article. I have added cites as needed. GreatYarmouthAnonymous (talk) 21:56, 9 January 2025 (UTC)

"Whether you are an artist looking to showcase your work, a local resident eager to participate, or a visitor seeking an enriching cultural experience, the Great Yarmouth Arts Festival promises a memorable and inspiring event" is clearly just advertising whoever you are.
