:::I see my edit has already been reverted. I checked many of the main sources, and aside from the two mentioned (LA Times and Mondoweiss, the latter not really mainstream), none used 'Syrian' in their own voice to describe the casualties. However, if there's consensus on the matter, who am I to argue?
