:Two reasons. First, the template appeared to have been copied into the page, possibly using the subst keyword. Most templates shouldn't be copied. Second, that template is meant for more general topics related to slavery. It's not included in most articles about individuals who were enslaved. ] (]) 17:02, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

::Thanks for responding. My apologies for adding the template incorrectly. It is used on the page on the Joseph Knight case, which also relates to slavery case law in Scotland so I thought it was appropriate.

You are invited to Misplaced Pages Day 2025, hosted by Wikimedia NYC at the Brooklyn Public Library's central branch.

The special focus this year will be the launch of our "400 Neighborhoods" campaign for the city's 400th anniversary and WikiProject New York City/400 Task Force.
