Sandeep born in Vijayawada. On 7 December 2024 he married to Chandini Rao in Tirupathi.

Carrer

Sandeep began his career with the telugu YouTube channel Chai Bisket, where he directed several short films, including The Athidhi with Suhas, which received numerous accolades from critics and industry celebrities.

He made his directorial debut with the film Colour Photo, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu at the 68th National Film Awards and earned praise from critics. Sangeetha devi dundoo of The Hindu wrote "Director Sandeep Raj goes againt the norms of masala-laden Telugu cinema." and Thadhagath Patti of Times Now stated "Sandeep Raj's use of dialogues in key scenes makes the film memorable, he will be remembered for his writing in the film."
