Pawan Reley is an Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India. He is also an author known for advocating for the rights of manual scavengers and sewer cleaners over the past nine years. Pawan belongs to a middle-class family from Panna, Madhya Pradesh. His father was a teacher at a government school. Pawan completed his schooling at a Hindi-medium school and graduated in law from the School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore, in 2015.
