In order to stop a hardcore dancer from attacking you, place a bent elbow and a firm fist out in front of you to let the hardcore dancer know that you are there. The dancer should then either stop or move away from you but should not always be counted on, as some hardcore dancers hold a gross disregard of hurting people.

The term '''getting awesome''' has also recently been coined for this type of dancing. This term is general considered derogatory, and may commonly be used by a ] fan who would typically just ] or watch the show rather than perform theatrics.
