:Gaumarjos Tamok. I can hardly help with references but I'd suggest to add Abkhazia/Abkhazians, Ossetia/Ossetians and Ingushetia/Ingushetians to the list. These terms are originally derived from Georgian. I'll try to find some references for that. Cheers, --] 08:26, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Tamokk gamarcoba, I totally understand you and welcome your initiatives and hard work. That article definitely needs lots of work (especially culture, economy and adding more photos-Abkhazia article is larger and has more photos). Anyway, you are not vandal or Bolshevik. Take a look at ] article. They have worked on it hard and it is well presentable. Georgia article looks very plain and does not represent the country in its true colors (thank God i have travelled there many times). So continue your work and together we will improve it. I have very limited time unfortunately and im working currently on ]. So good luck and all the best. Luis. ] 14:53, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

I really don't understand what do you want, just tell me what is your point. I agree that Georgians have superior intellectual and physical qualities, but what does that have to do with this issue? I understand that Russians can't even run their country, so that's why they needed Georgian Stalin, Shevardnadze, Beria, Tsanava and Orjonikidze, I think that's what you meant. SO, now when we have our desired freedom, we must use our superior intelligence to benefit our beautiful country. ] 12:40, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
:I just meant that your edits so far made Georgia look bad on wikipedia. For example, ''removing Ilia's picture'' from the economy section and cooperating with Communist vandal ] and removing the country's aspiration to be a ] and saying that ''Georgian lands first were unified as a nation-state in 1008''. As you know, ''Georgia has been a nation-state since the foundation of Kingdom of Kartli(Iberia) and later Kartli incorporated all the small Georgian kingdoms and ].'' ] 12:45, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

==Response from ]== | |||
Dear Tamokk, as we know Germany and Italy do not have long histories as ]s, because they were not unified countries until the 1800s. Culturally they are diverse countries and they explicitly say that. On the other hand, Georgia has a history as a nation-state since the foundation of Kingdom of Iberia by Pharnavaz. As for economy, if you wonna look at good economy sections, please take a look at ], ] and ]. ] 15:45, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi there! The economy of Georgia is beyond my scope, but I shall try. :) ] 13:17, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Sorry Tamokk, my mistake. Fixed, or you can remove the thing if it does not suit the article. Best Regards ] 15:29, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
:Hi there! Thanks for your note and tweaks to the introduction. I'm not so worried about its inclusion in Euro-international organisations (e.g., Council of Europe), since this is indicated further down in the introduction. I'm more concerned with ] that it is, from a sociopolitical perspective, European. I remember seeing a link somewhere with statements from the Georgian prime minister (?) about its European nature and the country being in Europe (indicating something like it being part of Europe is a ''fait accompli''); I don't recall exactly where these are now, but something like that would do. A reference from a source outside of Georgia would also help. I hope this helps; I've gotta go, but I'll be back later.. ] 09:15, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

I didn't realise that I removed anything that was important. I now understand, and I apologise for my attitude and prior comments to you (since retracted) -- I am very stressed out. But I am finding it frustrating to edit these articles. :) Feel free to drop me a note if you have any questions or need assistance. ] 13:24, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
:Oh, one more thing: what is it exactly that you were trying to retain? If I knew/know what it is, I can integrate it into the <s>other</s>neutral introduction. Let me know when able. Merci. ] 03:00, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for your correction on agriculture. I’m currently mostly working on the articles pertaining to Georgian literature and theater, trying to avoid an involvement in the controversial topics due to my preoccupation with real life stresses. :) Best, ]] 07:12, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
:You know when reading that conversation, I have a sad reminiscence of a time past when a civil war raged in Georgia with the third party involvement. :( Ok, take it easy, man… Henceforth, I will try to mediate this dispute and assume a role of a peacenik. :) ]] 07:26, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Instead of improving that article, you are damaging it. You unproductive discources with Soso and also insulting him (without any means of co-operation) already damaged a huge portion of that article. What is your intention? To delete sources information and incert some mediocre sentences? Or you have personal grudges with Soso, and you don’t really care for that article? Now you found a guy who has no idea about Georgia (I don’t think he even read anything about the country) who is removing valuable information and incerting his own understanding. Its destructive and unproductive. I can wage rv wars with you both bodies on that article and bring tons of sources which oppose your views. But why should I do that? I would rather work with you and improve that article in civic way, without any conflict and confrontation. However, if you continue your rv wars with your friend (with no knowledge of the country) ad fight other Georgian users I will get involved. ] 14:26, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
