unblock|I was indefinitley blocked about a week and a half ago for sockpuppetry. First and formost, I accept responsibility for what I did and I'm genuinely sorry. I wish to offer some explanation; The "Red Sox Rangers" article created by Most Cover started off as a joke between a couple of buddies of mine. I realize that it was innapropriate and the original article should never have been created in the first place. The edits by I Heart Vandalism were again, a joke that went too far, a play on the GFDL Copyright notice that was also innapropriate for an encyclopedia. I understand that there is no excuse whatsoever for this type of behaviour, and once again, I'm sorry. Before I was blocked, however, I had made what I hoped were legitimate and constructive edits to the encyclopedia, and I would like to know if there is any way that I can redeem myself and gain back editing privliges and the Misplaced Pages community's trust, with the understanding that the vandal edits I made previously will not be repeated. If I am to be unblocked, I promise not to make additional accounts or test/ joke edits, and promise only to make constructive well thought out edits to what is a wonderful project. Although I'm not sure if a consensus of administrators are permitted to override an indefinate block or not. If they are, I ask my request be considered, if not, and this has to go through the arbitration commitee, I respectfully ask that an administrator file a request for arbitration on my behalf. I am willing to serve a period of probation if this is deemed to be appropriate. Regards, Owen "Rackabello" Brandenburg ] 15:55, 5 June 2007 (UTC) | |||
