The Amiga games scene is one of the most important in ], it was the first ] to gain major success as a games machine due to it's ] and ] subsystems being far ahead of the times.

Reaching it's peak in the early ninetees it became the platform of choice of many games developing companies. At that time virtually every game destined for the PC was first released on the Amiga to test the waters due to cheaper development costs.
