'''"QWERTY"''' is a song by the American rock band ].

It was premiered in August ] during shows at the ] in ]. On a setlist for the shows it was labeled as "QWERTY". A studio demo version has since been released as a track on ] CD, along with a live recording from Summer Sonic. The song is notable for having a more complex guitar riff than Linkin Park usually uses.

The track is often referred to as ''Behind Your Lies'' by fans and numerous sites because of the main chorus which contains lyrics of: "You hide behind lies, you don't know why, you crossed the line, wrapped up inside your lies."

There are two versions, studio and live. The studio version is 28 seconds shorter, and has a slower bridge. The chorus is also sung and screamed, as in the live version. Also, in the live version, ] whispers the end repeat of the lyric "you hide behind lies, you don't know why", while Chester whispers it in the studio version.

The title "QWERTY" is derived from the letters' positioning in a ], and the use of the phrase as the song's title is said to have come from ].

QWERTY is also currently being played on the ] ] tour in Set C, one of the three different sets Linkin Park will be playing each night.

Redirect to:

  • From a song: This is a redirect from a song title to a more general, relevant article such as an album, film or artist where the song is mentioned. Redirecting to the specific album or film in which the song appears is preferable to redirecting to the artist when possible.
    • There is consensus that the majority of songs do not meet Misplaced Pages's notability guidelines. Songs should only have an individual article when there is enough material to warrant a detailed article.
    • For redirects of cover songs to the article about the original song, use {{R from cover song}} instead.
    • For redirects of remixes to the article about the original song, use {{R from remix}} instead.
