==Reception==
As the boys prepare for their trip, they learn that a code red has been declared at the airport. Ari uses this opportunity to tell his wife it might be best for her to stay behind. She says she is fine and didn't really want to go. Ari fumes at the airport after hearing all flights have been delayed and tries to pacify his wife and Lloyd, who sulks at the office because he was promised by Ari he could join them if Mrs. Ari didn't go. Lloyd informs him that when women say they are "fine" they really aren't. Ari calls to check on her and finds her in the middle of purchasing a new car.

===Critical reviews===
The terror alert is specific just to LAX and, with their flight delayed three hours, Walsh decides this would be a good time to ask Anna to look at his script and E calls to see if she can meet. They leave with Vince while Turtle and Drama remain at the airport to search for any suspicious characters. During the meeting, Anna appears out of her depth with Walsh's bizarre script – not to mention personality. E sits and doesn't offer much as he is put in the tough position of deciding whether she should work on a movie he wishes Vince hadn't picked up in the first place.
"No Cannes Do" received generally positive reviews from critics. Ahsan Haque of '']'' gave the episode a "good" 7.8 out of 10 and wrote, "This episode served primarily as a buildup for the finale, and as such, doesn't stand well on its own. The filler stories featuring Turtle and Drama were uninteresting, and there was little payoff with the Ari, wife, and Lloyd storyline. Fortunately, the Kanye West cameo was excellent, and Eric's moments were highly entertaining and helps add to the anticipation for the finale."<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.ign.com/articles/2007/08/28/entourage-no-cannes-do-review|title=Entourage: "No Cannes Do" Review|last=Haque|first=Ahsan|date=August 27, 2007|access-date=February 22, 2024|work=]}}</ref>

The boys meet up back at the house and Anna calls E asking for help; she doesn't understand the script. Vince tells E he needs to get Anna to do the film. Vince is upset that E didn't offer assurance at their previous meeting when E finally admits he doesn't like it. This prompts Vince to just lie about the script, "You lied to me." E goes over to Anna's and tells her she needs to do the movie. She agrees and they sit and talk over a glass of wine. Anna is still upset over her break-up and doesn't think she will meet anyone new. Eric tells her she has nothing to worry about; upon meeting her he thought that she was cute and that their first meeting was actually a date. Anna, flattered, tells E that she thinks he is cute too. Her honesty gets him to admit that he doesn't like Billy's script.

Ari, now talking his wife down from a punitive spending spree, tells a delighted Lloyd he can now go to Cannes. However, Ari arrives late to the Hollywood rush for private jets after LAX closes and none are available. The last plane was booked by ]. Desperate to fly his guys to Cannes, Ari calls Sydney Pollack, who is interested in meeting Vince and the hype surrounding his film. The boys, Vince, Turtle, Drama, and Billy, finally meet up at the ] with Ari. As they wait for E, Ari realizes he miscalculated and someone will need to stay behind. Turtle volunteers, since he is not directly involved with ''Medellin''. Vince decides it's all or nothing and passes on the flight. He is heading to London and Turtle asks if he has any space on his plane and Kayne points outside to his 727. Turtle and Vince ask if he could do them a huge favor and drop them off in Cannes. Kayne turns to Don C and asks who he knows that will be in Cannes, to which Don replies "Everybody." Kanye decides to go to Cannes and - Voila!- the guys all head outside. Before boarding, Ari calls his wife to apologize and tell her the truth: he wanted to go with the boys and feel young again. Now he really does want her to go. Pleased with his sentiment, and surrounded by a room full of designer purchases, Mrs. Ari tells him she wanted the truth all along and to have a safe flight. On board, Kanye announces that, even if it is illegal and has no training, he will be flying the plane off the runway. The guys sit, stunned, as Kanye emerges and exclaims that he is only fucking with them. Everyone laughs as they get served refreshments by attractive flight attendants before taking off.

Plot

The boys prepare to leave with Billy (Rhys Coiro) and Ari (Jeremy Piven) for Cannes. Meeting Anna Faris, Billy decides to cast her in Clouds and rewrite the script to accommodate her. However, LAX is closed down due to a Red Alert, delaying their flight. As they await, Billy instructs Eric (Kevin Connolly) to arrange a meeting with Faris.

Faris is given the script, but she is confused over the tone and the fact that Billy wrote it in haiku. She is unconvinced over taking the role, but Vince (Adrian Grenier) makes Eric in getting her signed. Eric lies that the script will make sense in the end, but he eventually comes clean and admits the script is bad. Ari feels pressured in finding a private jet, just as Melissa (Perrey Reeves) and Lloyd (Rex Lee) are arguing over accompanying him to Cannes. He eventually finds a jet, but is already booked by Sydney Pollack. He calls Pollack and convinces him in letting the boys accompany him.

As Eric stays to explain the situation to Faris, the boys and Ari leave for the plane. However, they are notified that there are only five available seats and one of them must stay. They decide to not leave on the flight, just as Eric arrives. Suddenly, they meet with Kanye West at the waiting area. While West is heading for London, he agrees in letting go in his plane for Cannes. Before leaving, Ari talks with Melissa to express his regret and asking her to come with him, but she allows him to go with the boys.
