Hi all - I've been moving all my photography licenses—to the extent they don't violate respective laws and personality rights—out of the Creative Commons license structure and into the public domain. The most significant shift is that anyone can profit off my work and no need to give me credit. This license shift is evident on my Flickr, including (which was amazing - can't believe a guy like Mick Jagger exists) to . Our Peer review project is struggling at the present, with only a few people reviewing the articles. While it is certainly possible to submit articles for a general peer review, a review by members of the LGBT community can be of additional value for LGBT specific writing. The ] articles continue to be a point of controversy both within and outside of our community. Various editors have suggested that to include them as LGBT Project related somehow taints the project and brings Misplaced Pages into disrepute. Other editors have stated that the articles, and especially the Pederasty article, are part of the core of LGBT studies. Well meaning editors continue to remove our tags from the articles themselves as well as the talk pages. If you have time, please read the articles and watchlist them to protect them from vandalism and well meaning but counterproductive edits.

The list of LGBT people has survived its 4th nomination for deletion. Please watchlist this list to protect it from vandalism and unsourced additions. David Shankbone Creative Commons Licenses Are Now Public Domain

Hi all - I've been moving all my photography licenses—to the extent they don't violate respective laws and personality rights—out of the Creative Commons license structure and into the public domain. The most significant shift is that anyone can profit off my work and no need to give me credit. This license shift is evident on my Flickr, including photos from the Rolling Stones' last concert (which was amazing - can't believe a guy like Mick Jagger exists) to Lenny Kravitz in Montreal. The LuEsther T. Mertz Library of the New York Botanical Garden and the Environment of New York City Task Force invite the general public of all experience levels to come to the Mertz Library in person and learn how to use Misplaced Pages! All skill levels welcome at the event! Experienced Misplaced Pages editors from the Wikimedia New York City chapter will be in attendance and available to help. A one hour training session will be offered at the start of this event covering introductory topics. Attendees familiar with editing Misplaced Pages can edit off of a worklist focused on the environment of New York City; as well as, a sub-list focused on the environment of the Bronx. The Mertz Library will pull topical media from their collection to assist the editing.
