Hi. I was wondering if you checked the article history for ] before tagging it as ]? I was able to revert it to a prior version that cited some sources and contained a credible assertion of significance. Of course, in doing so I also revered to outdated information, and although the version I revered to cited some sources, I'm concerned about their reliability. At any rate, unless the article you're tagging for speedy is very new, it's usually a good idea to check the history and see if what you're looking at is the result of vandalism or misguided edits (In this instance I think it was a good faith, but misguided, attempt to improve the article). ~ '']''(]&#124;])<small>]</small> 15:14, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

hI. Quite frankly I've had enough of some of the people on here. Not only did the ] get 25 supports for an FA but was rejected by a small group, now the same group of editors are attempting to demote it not only from an A but from a GA back to a B class article and are gain attempting to delete images. I've put some weeks of effort into this - it took me ages to find a license to help wikipedia and it takes weeks for the article to eventually pass a GA and A with flying colours, but it makes we wonder if there is any point in anything I do on here if this is the kind of response I get ]</span> ] 13:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

I always try to keep away from any wiki councilling as much as possible and concentrate on what I think is most important -the articles - building this website into what it clearly has immense potential in. I almost always try to avoid this sort of situation which I don't think helps anybody, and as you know I am almost always completely civil and very friendly, but if somebody appears to be disruptive to my progression and attempts to wipe out weeks of hard work I will stamp down on them hard and should quite rightly be reactive to them. It really does make me question this system if an article can pass GA and A with flying colours after being reviewed by several people including adminsitrators that a have a lot of expereice in GA's and receive so much support for an FA only to be back where we started with. If I just stepped away from it I would lose all of what I have spent a lot of time working for. I just wish I didn't have to encounter people like this. ]</span> ] 13:57, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

I was just going with what the website said. It only lists Jonathan Davis, Munky and Fieldy as members of the band in the bios section. I edited the pages to reflect this. Plus, David was supposed to be back in the band in ''October'' of this year. Check Kornspace.com, look around, and you'll also find the interview where JD specifically stated that David will not be returning. Therefore, reverting my edits would be vandalism because you would be removing a true statement from the mouth of JD himself. BEst to just leave it alone.

I thought that that was odd too, but then again he's been gone for a while, with no news emerging otherwise about his plans to return. That's pretty much what is accepted. Alright he seems to have calmed down, but keep an eye on him. There's just no convincing him that David is not a part of Korn anymore, though! AS long as Korn keeps finding good replacements for David, I don't really care, but it is seeming a bit ''Spinal Tap''-ish to me. Zoo Holdings Group

Hi. I was wondering if you checked the article history for Zoo Holdings Group before tagging it as A7? I was able to revert it to a prior version that cited some sources and contained a credible assertion of significance. Of course, in doing so I also revered to outdated information, and although the version I revered to cited some sources, I'm concerned about their reliability. So if you want to take it to AFD I have no objection to that. At any rate, unless the article you're tagging for speedy is very new, it's usually a good idea to check the history and see if what you're looking at is the result of vandalism or misguided edits (In this instance I think it was a good faith, but misguided, attempt to improve the article). ~ ONUnicornproblem solving 15:14, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

Greetings! I looked at a few older versions prior to the radical changes. I tried to find some evidence of notability beyond the PR pieces. Unfortunately I can't find any in the english language sources and the few Chinese sources I found seem lacking too. I have zero objections to rescuing it! I just tried to figure out how to get it out of the Dead End Pages category. spryde | talk 16:48, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

Your signature and WP:HTML5

I noticed that your signature uses obsolete WP:HTML5 formatting. Specifically, the HTML tag <font>...</font> was deprecated with HTML 5, and obsolete HTML tags run the risk of creating readability issues in the near future when old HTML tags get retired from MediaWiki, so editors are trying to fix formatting issues whenever possible. To fix it, I took the liberty of amending the HTML tag to ]</small>, which renders as spryde | talk. Please let me know if that works for you, or if you'd like, I can try to format it another way. Cheers! OhKayeSierra (talk) 05:04, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

Appreciate the help. My account pre-dates HTML5 and I haven't been really paying attention to it. I'll update it shortly. spryde | talk 01:17, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

recent edit to WP:COIN

In your edit adding the BeiGene section, you also blanked a comment by Cordless Larry and changed the wording in a comment by btphelps. Was that intentional? Schazjmd (talk) 20:11, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

Not at all. I didn't even know I did anything beyond a normal edit. Apologies! spryde | talk 12:10, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

COIN

I had to roll back your recent edits at Misplaced Pages:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard, because you (inadvertently, I'm sure) removed a load of other people's comments. Please check, and restore whatever it was you wanted to say. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 20:16, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

Oh wow, I just hit "Edit" and filled in the area where I wanted to reply to. I didn't get an EC or anything else so I didn't know I wiped out anything! Thanks for fixing it! spryde | talk 12:10, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
