==JetLover, my love who makes want to be a jet==
==''Signpost'' updated for November 26th, 2007.==

Hey, Is This Thing On? *tap tap tap* Testing, testing, 1-2-3...

Well, a long time ago, I was vandaliser who constantly raided this page and stuff like that. Although me and JetLover seemed like enemies on the surface, deep down I always had deep respect for him, a feeling I can only hope was mutual. So, now that JetLover is retired, I decided to dedicate this song to him. JetLover, if you can hear me, I just wanted you to know I love you.

And now, without further ado, here's my song, JetLover. I hope you will enjoy it:

''JetLover, JetLover, when will those clouds all disappear?''

''JetLover, JetLover, where will it lead us from here?''

''With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats''

''You can't say we're satisfied''

''But JetLover, JetLover, you can't say we never tried''

''JetLover, you're beautiful, but ain't it time we said good-bye?''

''JetLover, I still love you, remember all those nights we cried?''

''All the dreams we held so close seemed to all go up in smoke''

''Let me whisper in your ear:''

''JetLover, JetLover, where will it lead us from here?''

''Oh, JetLover, don't you weep, all your kisses still taste sweet''

''I hate that sadness in your eyes''

''But JetLover, JetLover, ain't it time we said good-bye?''

''With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats''

''You can't say we're satisfied''

''But JetLover, I still love you, baby''

''Ev'rywhere I look I see your eyes''

''There ain't a wikipedian that comes close to you''

''Come on Baby, dry your eyes''

''But JetLover, JetLover, ain't it good to be alive?''

''JetLover, JetLover, they can't say we never tried'' <span style="font-size: smaller;" class="autosigned">—Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 15:24, 9 July 2010 (UTC)</span><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

== Conspiring against the vandals, eh? ==

Digusting. Using utmost care, I vandalized your user page twice. TWICE! When I arrived at the unvandalized article, the vandalism counter was set to 115. Following my two malicious edits, the vandalism counter was reset to 115. I find this conspiracy to withold the accurate amount of vandalous edits against you from the public utterly horrific. I demand recognition for my desperate attempts to get attention! THIS IS WAR!

Sincerely,
] (]) 01:22, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your assistance. I wanted to note the vandalism but couldn't think of anything more erudite than "Knock it off." Your templates look like a great idea and I will use them. It appeared to be a kid's horsing around but still a more formal caution would be appropriate. FWIW ] (]) 04:15, 17 January 2008 (UTC).

I'm not really sure. As she's not so much causing harm as she is being opinionated, most normal methods of dealing with long-term abuse won't work. Likewise, normal dispute resolution hasn't helped. ArbCom is the only ting I can think of that will get a definitive result. — ] (] | ]) 04:17, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

== About the article that i recreated ==
hi there, thanks for your message and now let me tell you why i've recreated an article about ] and why i don't understant someone has deleted. First i think this band named Kord it's notable because they are a good band and i find out more details about them on google. I read the Misplaced Pages policy for artists and because they had at least one charted hit in a national chart, they were for many times subject of half hour a broadcast on a national radio and tv channel, and one of the members was a part for a very well known band of artist named Nicola ], because of all of this i think they should be present here on Misplaced Pages, i mean they are notable. I understand that YouTube is not considered a reliable source, but in this case how should i prove that they are notable, that they were a subject of a broadcast on a national tv? I think there are already many motives for ] being present on Misplaced Pages. Let me show you some reliable sources that i found about Kord on internet and tell me how should i use this for let others know that Kord is a band which is notable:
1. 2 months ago they were invited in a very well know tv show named
2. In december they were the subject of a half hour broadcast on a
3. On i saw so many comments about them from many people which admire their work.
4. One of the members of Kord, named Stefan Corbu was a part of very well known band of artist named Nicola ] .
And those are only few reliable sources which i remind right now, and i'm sure that anyone who'll search on internet about them will find out more reliable sources.
So, please tell me if i'm not right when i tell that ] it's notable. ] (]) 01:51, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

==Improving articles==
My question was directed at improving the article, since I was under the impression that the character's mother was dead, but the article states that his parents were divorced. It's not important, since they just said that on tonight's show, but you should follow ]. ] (]) 04:05, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

== Quick question... ==

Well, sorta more assignments for the "adpotion" program or things to improve being good here.--] 22:47, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

== Thanks! ==

I think you are right. Thanks a lot for reminding me.--] (]) 00:18, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

== re ==

Ok sure. No problem. But please also tell the same to this user: ]. ] (]) 04:04, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

== Giant Cabbages ==

since my page was completely deleted I'm still not done, I'm going to make it again, and again

just for the record Misplaced Pages is not a reliable resource, it is not a real encyclopedia, almost anyone can edit a page and if it sounds convincing enough it would pass by the inspections of people like you. so i could make a page that sounds true and Misplaced Pages wont know the difference, at least not for a while. i have seen mistakes before, but don't get me wrong alot of the information is factual but there is enough that is not that would make me want to back up anything i find on Misplaced Pages with any other websites. plus almost anyone can make websites for that matter, making probably less than 10% of the stuff you find as true creditable websites

did you really just ask me to find you something not notable on wikipedia? you do know all notable means is well known, just hit the random article button on the home page, you can find a one sentence wikipeia page dedicated to a random famous person's sister. <small>—Preceding ] comment added by ] (] • ]) 05:17, 14 February 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

== Adoption ==

Hi again. I have something to tell you. (Drum roll please). I think I am good enough to graduate from the adoption program! I loved doing it and being your adoptee, but I fell that I've got "the lay of the land" here in Misplaced Pages. Thanks for everything. Oh ya, I have a question for you: can you still give me the occasional tip? I think I'm going to see if I can adopt someone.--] 19:20, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Or, as you more correctly put it, ]. Thanks for moving this article; I suppose I've been on new page patrol for so long that it looks perfectly natural not to have a capital letter at the beginning of your last name. Hi, JetLover. I noticed that you've warned at least one user about their edits. Upon them removing those warnings, you restored them and placed a template, I presume made by you, indicating that such actions are not within policy and should not be done. However, as read at ], ''"Policy does not prohibit users from removing comments from their own talk pages, although archiving is preferred. The removal of a warning is taken as evidence that the warning has been read by the user. Deleted warnings can still be found in the page history."'' Also check out ]. :I don't remember. I tried looking back through your contribs to find it, but didn't. The template has been edited to remove the comment about not blanking. If the vandalism continues after they blank their page, then you can restore the removed warnings while adding the next. Otherwise, assume good faith that they've read it and understand. == New deal for page patrollers ==

Hi {{BASEPAGENAME}},

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the ] is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group '''New Page Reviewer''' has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most ''current'' experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at ] and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. ] (]) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Greetings,
] doesn't meet speedy deletion criteria under ], which you tagged it for. If you check the history, you'll see that other users have made substantial contributions to the page (e.g., cleanup), making the page not meet that particular criterion. Please check the page history before making G7 taggings in future. ''']''' 00:19, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
:No, it's not okay, because it only applies if "''the page's only substantial content was added by its author''", and by judging the page history, he wasn't the only user to make substantial changes. JetLover, my love who makes want to be a jet

JetLover, JetLover, when will those clouds all disappear?

JetLover, JetLover, where will it lead us from here?

With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats

You can't say we're satisfied

But JetLover, JetLover, you can't say we never tried

JetLover, you're beautiful, but ain't it time we said good-bye?

JetLover, I still love you, remember all those nights we cried?

All the dreams we held so close seemed to all go up in smoke

Let me whisper in your ear:

JetLover, JetLover, where will it lead us from here?

Oh, JetLover, don't you weep, all your kisses still taste sweet

I hate that sadness in your eyes

But JetLover, JetLover, ain't it time we said good-bye?

With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats

You can't say we're satisfied

But JetLover, I still love you, baby

Ev'rywhere I look I see your eyes

There ain't a wikipedian that comes close to you

Come on Baby, dry your eyes

But JetLover, JetLover, ain't it good to be alive?

JetLover, JetLover, they can't say we never tried —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.125.83.238 (talk) 15:24, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Conspiring against the vandals, eh?

Sincerely, 216.154.16.182 (talk) 01:22, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Notability of Devilry

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Devilry, by another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Devilry seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Devilry, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Angie

I'm not really sure. As she's not so much causing harm as she is being opinionated, most normal methods of dealing with long-term abuse won't work. Likewise, normal dispute resolution hasn't helped. ArbCom is the only ting I can think of that will get a definitive result. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:17, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

About the article that i recreated

hi there, thanks for your message and now let me tell you why i've recreated an article about Kord (band) and why i don't understant someone has deleted. First i think this band named Kord it's notable because they are a good band and i find out more details about them on google. I read the Misplaced Pages policy for artists and because they had at least one charted hit in a national chart, they were for many times subject of half hour a broadcast on a national radio and tv channel, and one of the members was a part for a very well known band of artist named Nicola Nicoleta Alexandru, because of all of this i think they should be present here on Misplaced Pages, i mean they are notable. I understand that YouTube is not considered a reliable source, but in this case how should i prove that they are notable, that they were a subject of a broadcast on a national tv? I think there are already many motives for Kord (band) being present on Misplaced Pages. Let me show you some reliable sources that i found about Kord on internet and tell me how should i use this for let others know that Kord is a band which is notable: 1. 2 months ago they were invited in a very well know tv show named TEOVIZIUNEA 2. In december they were the subject of a half hour broadcast on a radio 3. On Myspace i saw so many comments about them from many people which admire their work. 4. One of the members of Kord, named Stefan Corbu was a part of very well known band of artist named Nicola Nicoleta Alexandru . And those are only few reliable sources which i remind right now, and i'm sure that anyone who'll search on internet about them will find out more reliable sources. So, please tell me if i'm not right when i tell that Kord (band) it's notable. Lukassandi (talk) 01:51, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Improving articles

My question was directed at improving the article, since I was under the impression that the character's mother was dead, but the article states that his parents were divorced. It's not important, since they just said that on tonight's show, but you should follow Misplaced Pages:Please do not bite the newcomers. Lavender Gooms (talk) 04:05, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Quick question...

Is there any specific assignments you would want be to do or anything for me to work on? I'm always up for a challenge or assignment.-- Barkjon  19:06, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, sorta more assignments for the "adpotion" program or things to improve being good here.-- Barkjon  22:47, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

I think you are right. Thanks a lot for reminding me.--Mark Chung (talk) 00:18, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Ok sure. No problem. But please also tell the same to this user: User:Pollinghigh. KhostiPakhtoon (talk) 04:04, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Giant Cabbages

since my page was completely deleted I'm still not done, I'm going to make it again, and again

just for the record Misplaced Pages is not a reliable resource, it is not a real encyclopedia, almost anyone can edit a page and if it sounds convincing enough it would pass by the inspections of people like you. so i could make a page that sounds true and Misplaced Pages wont know the difference, at least not for a while. i have seen mistakes before, but don't get me wrong alot of the information is factual but there is enough that is not that would make me want to back up anything i find on Misplaced Pages with any other websites. plus almost anyone can make websites for that matter, making probably less than 10% of the stuff you find as true creditable websites

did you really just ask me to find you something not notable on wikipedia? you do know all notable means is well known, just hit the random article button on the home page, you can find a one sentence wikipeia page dedicated to a random famous person's sister. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Neilbennett (talkcontribs) 05:17, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

I have protected this page due to edit warring between you, Maniainc, OverlordQ and GlassCobra. You should consider carefully the implications of using your rollback button in a content dispute - it says "this edit was so worthless I am not even going to explain why I am reverting it". Misuse of the rollback privilege may result in its withdrawal. Stifle (talk) 09:34, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject Articles for creation needs your help!
WikiProject Articles for creation has done a tremendous job in working at WP:AFC over the past 7½ months. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication! Together, we've made the submission process easier and more streamlined, developed tools to make the process go faster for reviewers, and cut the backlog down to a mere fraction of what it once was. Well done!

As you all are aware, however, our work is not quite yet done. The project still has 10 archive pages left to complete, which include over half a month's worth of submissions, many of which have not been completely reviewed. We need your help to finish looking over these neglected submissions so that we can finally remove the backlog notice from the page, and put an end to the more than two year old backlog that has been a thorn in our side for ages! Participants will receive an AFC Barnstar, so hurry up and help out while there's still work to be done! Make sure to sign in on the WikiProject's talk page so we know who is involved in what promises to be our final effort to complete this goal. Thank you for all your help!
- Happy editing as always, Hersfold 16:25, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

New deal for page patrollers

Hi JetLover,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

RC Patrol-related Proposals in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.

Greetings,

"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group.
