Hi Bless Sins, I have created a new template that allows each tpoic to be expanded without navigating away from the current page. This means that every article listed can be reached from every other article, without going via one of the main topic articles. If all of the topics are expanded then the template looks identical to the original, however the default is to open with only the topic list associated with the current article open, solving the size issue. Does this address your concerns? I would appreciate your feedback.--] 19:03, 7 November 2007 (UTC) | |||

Voting now open for "Military historian of the year" and "Military history newcomer of the year" awards
Voting for our annual Military historian of the year and Military history newcomer of the year awards is open until 23:59 (GMT) on 30 December 2018. Why don't you vote for the editors who you believe have made a real difference to Misplaced Pages's coverage of military history in 2018? Disambiguation link notification for February 22
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Idolatry, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shirk (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:08, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan discretionary sanctions
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Misplaced Pages's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

- @NinjaRobotPirate:Is there a list of "more stringent set of rules". There is Misplaced Pages:Requests_for_arbitration/India-Pakistan#Principles, but it is quite similar to other wikipedia policies.Bless sins (talk) 18:14, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
- By default, any articles about an India-Pakistan conflict are under extended confirmed protection (see this discussion). Beyond that, individual pages can have specific restrictions, such as 1RR, but this is always advised in an edit notice when editing the page. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 18:28, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
- I am reminding you once again that you are editing The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019, a topic covered by discretionary sanctions. Edit warring and stone walling on the talk page do not bode well. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 18:55, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

March 2019
Your recent editing history at Balakot shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. DBigXrayᗙ 05:42, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- Are you saying that you have not made any reverts?Bless sins (talk) 05:42, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- #India,_Pakistan,_and_Afghanistan_discretionary_sanctions, I see that you have already been notified. So you may be subjected to WP:AC/DS should you choose to continue this disruptive behavior. --DBigXrayᗙ 05:49, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- @NinjaRobotPirate: Can you please comment about the discretionary sanctions with respect to the above message? For example, extended-confirmed protection doesn't apply to and editor like me (I am older than 30 days and have made more than 50 edits). So what additional sanctions would apply in this because beyond the usual Misplaced Pages policies.Bless sins (talk) 05:54, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- It's all in WP:AC/DS. The biggest thing is that admins can topic ban people who edit disruptively. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:00, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- @NinjaRobotPirate: How can I seek dispute resolution in this case? Is it still the usual Misplaced Pages:Dispute resolution noticeboard, or are there any methods special to the India-Pakistan domain? How do you advise proceeding in this case? Bless sins (talk) 06:03, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- Anything in WP:DR – there's nothing special about the dispute resolution methods. WP:NPOVN might help if you think there are issues of undue weight. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:20, 3 March 2019 (UTC)

There is even a bit of friendly competition built in for those that like that sort of thing. Sign up now at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Military history/September 2019 Backlog Banzai to take part. Nomination of Geography and cartography in medieval Islam for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Geography and cartography in medieval Islam is suitable for inclusion in Misplaced Pages according to Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of Muslim writers and poets until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. December 2019
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Kautilya3 (talk) 18:53, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

GA of Cologne Central Mosque
Hi Bless sins, I have read the GA review of the mosque and it was approved as a GA in 2008, when the mosque was just a project and not built yet. The mosque was opened in 2017 and inaugurated in 2018. At least the latter was a major event for the mosque. I was inclined to list the article for a GA reassessment but there I saw I should ask the main contributor for advice. I'd be relieved if you could update the article a bit.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 01:45, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
