== About you denial of a request for creation on 2008-01-24 ==

Yesterday, 2008-01-24, I added a request for creation of an article on a sofware title called MagicDisc. You have denied the request and referred me to the notability guidelines.

What I do not understand is the difference between this specific piece of software, which actually has been referred to in Misplaced Pages article http://en.wikipedia.org/List_of_ISO_image_software and does have an "empty" article, and similar competitors. As I had written in my request for creation, if an article on the Daemon-Tools Suite is "encyclopedic" so is an article on MagicDisc.

Moreover, my request article was in a rather unbiased tone similar to many other articles on software products already present on Misplaced Pages.

As for the notability bit, this piece of software is quite as "notable" as any other software with a purpose, e.g. Microsoft Windows, Winamp, the Bourne Again Shell, the C Shell, OpenBSD, IBM z/OS, Dilo web browser, Mozilla FireFox, PuTTY, the OpenSSH suite and others. <small>—Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 11:08, 25 January 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

:Well, there is the controversy, some users think it is just a way for trolls to remove warnings from their page in hopes of disrupting wikipedias anti-vandal process and making it harder for newer vandal fighters to know if the user has been previously warned. I noticed that when you review articles at ], you seem to be using a different template to others. At the top it might have <nowiki>{{#switch:|accept={{afc a}}|mm={{afc mm}}|#default={{afc r}}}}</nowiki>. What's the score here?

:Sure, it depends on if i am using the script (which can be found ]) or not. If i am using Firefox or IE then i use the script and it auto closes the submission for me.'' But'' when i am not using the script i close it myself, and the form in which i do that changes (it depends on which template i can remember off the top of my head). The Universal Declaration of Human Rights sums up the history adequately, and utterly fails elsewhere. My edits were not unconstructive - they might have been hostile, but decidedly not unconstructive.
