I'm convinced that this isn't a hoax, however, I won't be changing my vote to delete. There are a number of criteria for deletion, manufactured information being only one of them. This game is not well established, is being made by a company (or team) that it not well established and falls squarely under the heading of "non-notable." This article may well have merit in the future, however, it should not be written until such a time as the game and/or company has been well established and a fair number of players are in existence -] 16:43, 5 August 2005 (UTC)

== Your Views == | |||
To be a wikipedia editor rather than just a mindless tagging machine, you have to ''edit'' such articles and expand them. It's a wiki. --]] 22:03, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
Hi, | |||
*The articles were devoid of real content, a criterion for speedy deletion. They were also created by ] so I was hardly convinced of any impending expansion. And, really, how much could one expand ]? -] 22:15, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
Just a quick note to say I'm very sympathetic to many of your views, particularly on schools. It's always a pleasure to see you contributing to an AfD debate.
Are you serious? This is an encyclopedia! History of the beverage, first known recipes, cultural aspects, pointers to recipes (Wikibooks?) Variants (Orangina, etc). Neither article qualified for speedy deletion; if you believe that you need to re-read the CSDs again, more carefully. --]] 22:30, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
Sincerely, | |||
*I would direct your attention to the very first criterion for speedy deletion which reads in part "No meaningful content or history." Both of these articles had no meaningful content when created by Maoririder. ] simply stated that it was an Orange flavored drink in the same vein as Lemon and Limeade. ] just said that it was a movie with Alec Baldwin. I've since updated that one a bit myself, however. -] 22:35, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
**I would also point out that a motion was recently made to move ] to Wikionary. -] 22:37, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
* I'm well aware of CSD A1 and I have no idea how you could apply it to an article which succinctly and accurately describes a soft drink, or one that describes a movie in terms of its principal star. Have you actually read it all the way through? "No meaningful content or history, text completely meaningless or unsalvageably incoherent (e.g., random characters). See ]." Completely meaningless, unsalvageably incoherent, random characters, patent nonsense.
* I recommend also that you give a very, very close reading to ].
* If someone thinks it belongs on wiktionary, that's still not excuse for speedy deletion. --]] 09:31, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

My dear old boy, before you engage in any more virulent attacks on my background I suggest you review the corpus of my substantive contributions to wikipedia, especially those concerning the law. There you shall find that I am no ordinary "fifteen year old Peruvian," as you so dismissively put it, but indeed possess more education and breeding that you ever shall. Furthermore, I posited that query about Prof. Howlett to my friend from Cambridge, not you, and I should expect that in the future you refrain from interfering with my communications.

*First of all, you are not going to get anywhere with that attitude, my boy. In one sentence you are enjoining me to avoid "personal attacks." I'm waiting for my friend Rusty to get back to me on that, not you. I highly doubt you would have any insight into such matters. Hello, Soltak. I noticed you've been fighting with ] recently about ]. Since BetacommandBot is just a bot, I don't think you're going to win this one; it will keep adding a notice that the image has no fair-use rationale, no matter how many times you delete the notice.
Please read the {{]}} tag carefully:
:'''This tag is meaningless without an accompanying ]''' which must be unique to the usage of THIS image in each article in which it is used.
The image description page for ] does not have a fair-use rationale, and that's why BetacommandBot keeps tagging it. You will need to write a rationale. The <nowiki>{{non-free logo}}</nowiki> tag is not sufficient by itself.

deadlines are noted <math>\frac{}{d}</math> (d with a bar above it, not fractions...) and must not be reached.
duedates, <math>d_i</math>, are I think what you talk about in your article.

Hello, Soltak! | |||
My name is Daniel, and I'm a senior at Harvard writing an undergraduate thesis on Misplaced Pages. One chapter of my thesis will center around Misplaced Pages's notability policy; I'm particularly curious about the inclusionism vs. deletionism debate that has played out among Misplaced Pages editors.
I see that you've written about deletionism in the past. I'm not sure how active you are on Misplaced Pages anymore, but if you see this, would you mind if I sent you a few questions (via email or right on here) about your views on deletionism and how you approach the question of notability?
Thanks so much! | |||

Image copyright problem with Image:Joseph_J._Kelly.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Joseph_J._Kelly.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Misplaced Pages's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image:D'AngeloLogo.jpg
Hello, Soltak. I noticed you've been fighting with BetacommandBot recently about Image:D'AngeloLogo.jpg. Since BetacommandBot is just a bot, I don't think you're going to win this one; it will keep adding a notice that the image has no fair-use rationale, no matter how many times you delete the notice.
Please read the {{non-free logo}} tag carefully:
- This tag is meaningless without an accompanying fair use rationale which must be unique to the usage of THIS image in each article in which it is used.
The image description page for Image:D'AngeloLogo.jpg does not have a fair-use rationale, and that's why BetacommandBot keeps tagging it. You will need to write a rationale. The {{non-free logo}} tag is not sufficient by itself.
Please let me know if you have any questions. —Bkell (talk) 00:10, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Image source problem with Image:APULogo.jpg
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:APULogo.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Misplaced Pages:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:04, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Fair use rationale for Image:Joseph_J._Kelly.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Joseph_J._Kelly.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Misplaced Pages articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Typo redirect Carelli
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Carelli, by another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Carelli is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Carelli, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Hi, I admire your effort on publishing high level stuff on wiki; but I think there is at least a mistake in your article "Notation for theoretic scheduling problems".
I believe you should have written "duedates" instead of "deadlines" deadlines are noted (d with a bar above it, not fractions...) and must not be reached. duedates, , are I think what you talk about in your article.
TY; Enjoy! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.83.139.7 (talk) 13:10, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:APULogo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:APULogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hugahoody (talk) 20:54, 28 December 2010 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:WilsonCenter.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:WilsonCenter.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Interview request
Hello, Soltak!
Thanks so much!
