The '''Kambagiri''' Swamy temple is located on the border between Anantapur and Kurnool districts. It falls in Owk Mandal (Anantapur district), surrounded by villages, Uppalapadu (Owk Mandal), Nereducherla, Boorugula, Boincheruvupalli and Racherla (] Taluk in the ] of ]). Kambagiri swamy is a very powerful god in Hindu gods. Kambagiri Swamy brothers has seven brothers. In Erramala forests, the temple is very cute and every full moon day, the temple looks very colourful. At Dhone bus stand one has to take a bus to Kommemarri and alight at Racherla. Some Yadiki or Banaganapalli buses also ply on this route.

On the bus route to Peapully/Gooty/Dhone from Banaganapalli, one should debus at Garladinne bus stop and change bus or other vehicle via Racherla to Kambagiri Swami temple.
Or from Yadiki, one should take a bus to Racherla.

Presently this temple is managed by Owk Congres MLA Chella Rama Krishna Reddy and his family. The temple Pujari's name is Madhu swami.
