If you want the material to be deleted, then by all means I am fine with opening an AfD, but if you have the interests of the material at heart, then a merge - as I have done - is the proper course of action. To be utmost honest, it makes a lot of sence when you put it that way. It's funny how IP's simply ignore the larger templates and get rid of the smaller typing. I have reverted myself :) - one and only, '''<font face="Trebuchet">]<small>]</small></font>''' 02:00, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Ta-da!!! She magically reappears, refreshed and rejuvenated and renewed and re-everything elsed. I'm still pretty busy but I'm getting back into the Wikigroove again. God knows there was enough drama while I was gone... every time I leave there's more and more crap to read about when I come back, usually in the form of ArbCom requests and ANI threads that take up 25 or 35 screen views. I seem to miss all the big kerfluffles, but somehow I don't feel left out or abandoned when I'm not included. :-)
Hi -- noticed you've done extensive editing of the AD episode pages. While these changes have improved these pages, I'd like to open up a discussion on the justifications you cite and what procedure the community might take in finding a middle ground.

Do you want to resume now or would you like to start back up again when you return from your vacation? It's up to you, 'cause I'll still be here when you get back. The break won't have any effect on your RFA, so don't give that a second thought. I had to take a little more than 3 months off back in 2006 and had no problems. It's running away in a snit that causes concern, not vacations.
But, to avoid opening a can o' worms that has been opened and fished from already, was consensus originally reached to make these redactions? If so, then just point me to the discussion page/archive so I can avoid repeating ideas. If not, then I may go ahead and open a discussion at ]. Thoughts? ] | <small>]</small> 05:16, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Let me know what you'd like to do. Good to see you again! :-) - ]] 02:48, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
:Very funny (gave me quite the chuckle) -- no, I don't think you've made a "huge mistake". I've been cycling through the HDNet reruns and came here to see all that cruft that this fan likes to read about -- using The-OP.com's million posts becomes tiresome. That said, I guess I took issue with the extensive list of justifications for the deletions. ] is neither policy nor a guideline and can be uncivilly pejorative -- but we know it when see it. Clearly ] supports the deletions of continuity errors but I don't see an ] problem here. None of the examples of ] seem to apply so I think you are using a broader reading than its intent.
:Well, my vacation doesn't start until almost four weeks from now so I'd like to get a good chunk of my training done before it. I was planning the whole time to go to RfA after the vacation because I'd like some time to pass after my blocks. But I'm eager to get back into training again! <tt>]</tt><tt>]]</tt> 03:50, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

:: Okay - sounds good to me. I've got toothpicks holding up my eyelids so I'm about to knock off for the night, after I finish the current ] log I'm on, so we'll pick up Friday. 'Night! - ]] 04:27, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
:So, that leaves us with the pillars: ] and ]. This is where my problem lies. Absolutely agreed that the example pages from ] are excellent. The articles I write/edit generally use a reference per sentence. However, I tend to write/edit articles about history and politics which demands rigor. If all of your deletions are justified by NOR and V, then why didn't you delete all of the "Cultural references" and "Notes" for (say) ]? Isn't it true that you not only deleted painfully obnoxious references about how Michael uses the letter "R" for rape but kept those references that you believe are accurate? There is no reference provided to support that the 7 minute G.O.B. wait was a play on the G.W.B. pet goat wait. On what basis is that retained? Editor's choice in lieu of ]? Similarly, no source is given for the Michael Moore statement. Basis? Duh, it's obvious. But is that a policy, guideline?
:::G'night! <tt>]</tt><tt><sup>]</sup><sub>]</sub></tt> 04:49, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

:I'll stop being so argumentative and get to my real point: The standards for ] and ] are lower for popular (non-BLP) articles than for weightier topics. You have (implicitly) acknowledged that by retaining many NOR/V violating statements. Possibly I may make some time to think about re-incorporating *some* of the deleted text that I believe rises to this same level of relevancy. Although, your idea of a grouping the "running jokes" or callbacks in their own article is quite intriguing and may be a way to solve this. Thoughts? ] | <small>]</small> 05:54, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

== The Mickey Mouse Club ==
::Well, you mean not ] but ]. I remain unconvinced of the ] issue. You and others of like mind disagree with editors who have a more expansive view of inclusion and that is an issue of reaching consensus and not a POV vio. The difference between the two groups is one of degree and not type.

I am having trouble with an editor removing information of mine that is sourced and cited very well. They are telling me that an "uninterested" editor needs to publish the information, which makes no sense to me as an "uninterested" editor would have no reason to do so. Zachary Jaydon was a cast member on The Mickey Mouse Club, and I have cited numerous Official, Reliable, Non-Secondary Disney Publications that provide this information clearly. The editor keeps removing the information without taking the time to check the sources, which can be done if a small amount of effort is put into it. I believe that this goes against Wiki policy as well as a major lack of the assumption of good faith. Removing unsourced information is one thing, but when an editor takes the time to make an article more informative and accurate, it's very discouraging. Please help!
::And that returns to my primary issue: not "a bit" of flawed reasoning but a cut and dry inconsistency. You justify your edits citing ] and ]. By the same strict application, the entire article is unjustified. Every episode article for AD should be deleted with the plot summaries left for the ] page. Clearly, 98% of all Misplaced Pages episode articles should be deleted. In the absence of ], utilizing the same strict standard of ] used for scholarly, political and biographical pages, to do otherwise is unjustified.

] (]) 20:32, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
::I believe that you and I have a similar outlook: the standards of ] and ] have varying levels of strictness. Television episode articles that have allusions and cultural references (particularly one as well written as AD) can be developed through consensus letting the community determine relevance. Your edits are an excellent, beginning compromise between article deletion and the tiresome, poorly organized pre-edit article. But we need to justify your edits and by doing so the community should agree that consensus of relevance is the standard being used and not ] nor ]. Thoughts? ] | <small>]</small> 16:56, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Is there any way you can help me out with yet another AfD for my article on Zachary Jaydon. How many times can an article be AfD'd before it remains a part of Wiki?

There seems to be confusion as to the relation between Jaydon D. Paull & Zachary Jaydon. They are one in the same. A large percentage of performers/artists don't go by their legal name. Any notability no matter which of the two names they are credited under are still assertions of nobility under either or both. Many people are eliminating anything that can be user uploaded or changed. I agree with the principle of this in general, however, videos, magazine scans and the such are irrefutable proof of events or facts no matter where they came from. If there is a video of Mr. Jaydon playing with a National Rock Band, you can't say that because it was put up by a "user" that the fact doesn't remain.
==Admin coaching==

While every sentence of this Wiki Article isn't strongly sourced, it doesn't mean he doesn't meat notability requirements for an article. I have scanned and uploaded quite a few of my sources at: http://zacharyjaydonwiki.blogspot.com/
Well, I see you would still like a coach, and I'm willing to help you. I've looked over your contributions and I think you have the temperament and patience for the job. My current coachee is ready for RFA except for that pesky, teeny little requirement of actually writing content for the encyclopedia. The candidacies of editors who are short in the writing department don't end well usually, and I'm trying to spare him that aggravation.

Also, the following was taken directly from ]:
I've been an admin since June 2007; prior to ] I did a lot of vandalism work and some new page patrol, and I also got some experience closing non-controversial AFDs, which I'll show you how to do. I have you can sift through if you like. My admin work is mostly on admin backlogs. Since the end of February I've been fiendishly working with a few other admins to clear a shameful, seven-week backlog at ], and we're actually ahead of the queue now. I consider myself a copyright expert now - how could I not be after four weeks in Siberia? - so that's a good thing to know about me. I also create new accounts from requests at unblock-en and the account creation email lists, and I pitch in at ], ], and ] on a spot basis as needed. I don't comment as often as I used to at RFA because I just don't have time, but I do try to comment on the contentious ones and those of candidates with whom I'm familiar.

Criteria for composers and lyricists
My philosophy about this place and this 'job' can be found on my user page. I'm pretty frazzle-proof about Misplaced Pages, but I have to tell you that the mop is not for everybody. Among other things, it requires civility and patience and tact. People who lack one of those three may be successful candidates, but they won't be good admins. More importantly, they won't _like_ being admins, and that's becoming a real problem for us. We're losing experienced admins left and right, something like 10 in the last two months or so, and we need people who are suited for this work.

For composers, songwriters, librettists or lyricists:
If you'd like me to coach you, we'll take as long as you want and go at your pace, not mine. I used a freeform style with my last coachee, but I'm going to use a hybrid of ]'s system to see if it works better for me and for coachees. In real life, I'm a good teacher (or so students and patients tell me) and I like teaching, and I really like to have fun while teaching. Let me know if you're interested. :-) Thanks. ]] 08:30, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Jaydon has written material on several Multi-Platinum records, including *NSYNC, Craig David, Ryan Cabrera and others. These WERE songs that were included on these albums. They weren't scrapped, or obscure B-Sides. These were songs included on official releases by MAJOR artists. He obviously has notable talent if these artists are choosing to work with him. This is obviously an arguable issue, but given the success of the albums his work has been featured on, it seems at the VERY least, notable. These credits are easily verifiable here:

:It'd be great if you did, my IM data is on my user. About Obama, there really was no contest. McCain was only a possibility because of the massive homeschooled-fundamentalist-Christian demographic, which is basically non-existent in Unamerica, thankfully. McCain's victory would have sealed the fate for the US, and I don't think anyone would even bat an eyelid. Sure there'd be some short-term impact, but America is nowhere near as useful or important as it was during the 20th century (hence the fictitious War on Terror Bush invented). Obama at least offers hope for a renewed America, bringing it back to what it was like in the first half of last century - progressive, free, educated and hard-working, as opposed to today - regressive, authoritarian, idiot-ridden and lazy. McCain really was a joke, and he demonstrated a unbelievable lack of judgement in picking Palin as VP. I think stories of Palin are going to be told for decades to come. I've found that recently I get fired up over politics, so I tried to restrain myself here. :) +] (]) 06:20, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
::You'll greatly enjoy wiki then, it is teeming with anti-religion arguments and hilarious pictures and cartoons. They're having trouble raising donations (when I checked just now they'd only raised 81 american :( ) though, so it may not be up all that much longer. I think I'm much like you in that department, I get heated about controversial topics too. Actually I was just considering today having a talk with a Jewish friend of mine and assuring him I'm not anti-Semitic since he's been acting a bit cold recently - may have been all that my denouncing of his god and everything his religion stood for and all... :) About the time difference, a few hours ago I was chatting on IM with a mate in Ottawa, so I don't think it would be too un-doable. I have a completely screwed up sleep cycle so let me assure you we'd encounter each other at least occasionally. Good night! +] (]) 07:15, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
::::Cool, I've authorised you. One of the beautiful things about Sydney is the mass of diversity, you hear a variety of languages spoken in the street literally more often than English, and everyone has at least a few stock phrases in Cantonese and Mandarin and usually a few other languages, dǒngma? :) That diversity translates to religions too, so some of my best friends are Buddhists, Muslims and even fundamentalist Christians. You learn to tolerate all sort of non-sense, whether it is Sino-Tibetan languages or calls to prayer here. I still forgive myself a casual anti-religious joke here and there but I mostly just enjoy the freedom to eat pork, sleep around, and spend Friday evenings in a drunken stupor that has me waking up tattooed in a condom-laden gutter on the west-end of ] on Saturday mornings... well, I may be exaggerating a little but you get my point. :) I don't really try and help religious people anymore (after finding out there are people that don't actually believe evolution is real, I lost faith in humanity), with rare exceptions where someone just needs that little shove (which usually comes in the form of a copy of the God Delusion). I don't really like the label agnostic. What is that supposed to mean? You either believe in god or don't, there really isn't any middle-ground. I have more respect for people firm in their faith than people too insecure to be able to comfortably state their religious beliefs. Still, I suppose these are the people that would otherwise tick "Christian" without caring about the church, therefore inflating the figures and giving the church undue influence, so it may be better they class themselves as agnostics. Sorry for the rambling, that's what you get when my attempts to restrain myself from a theological debate start cracking under the pressure... :) PS: Typical me, I reply to you only to find hours later I replied on my talk rather than yours... +] (]) 12:16, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

One of the reasons I drifted away was ArbCom and its lack of... how shall I say it... backbone. But in the last several weeks they've done some things that could and should have been done a year ago, or more, so I'm relatively optimistic about the future of the project. By relatively, I mean about twice as optimistic than I was last year at this time.

I probably won't be here every day for a while - we ''are'' in the middle of baseball season, after all ;-) - so when I'm not here, keep working in the article space. I'd also like you to pitch in at ]. You don't have to be an admin to work there (or at ]); it will show you the extent of the copyright problems we have and you'll develop an eye for what is and isn't something to worry about.

I'll check in with you Monday or Tuesday. Welcome back! - ]] 21:49, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Oh, sorry, I uninstalled Adium, almost everyone's on Facebook now so I just use that (or good old fashioned mobile phones). == Admin Coaching ==

Hi, I was doing a bit of tidying up at ], and I saw that your status was "Match Pending".

I also see from above that you were doing coaching - is it still happening? If so, could you please ask your coach to add you to the list at ] and remove your entry at the Requests page?

If it fell through, and you are still interested in being coached, could you remove the "Match pending" from the list?

If, on the other hand, you are no longer interested in being coached, perhaps you would consider removing your request from the list?

== New deal for page patrollers ==

Hi {{BASEPAGENAME}},

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the ] is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group '''New Page Reviewer''' has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most ''current'' experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at ] and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. ] (]) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Re:Back?

LOL, I'll probably be back a little more than I have been, but nothing compared to what I use to be. I enjoy free time not spent on here all day. Thanks for your post, bud! Ctjf83Talk 06:40, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

well, I'm back

Let me know what you'd like to do. Good to see you again! :-) - KrakatoaKatie 02:48, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, my vacation doesn't start until almost four weeks from now so I'd like to get a good chunk of my training done before it. I was planning the whole time to go to RfA after the vacation because I'd like some time to pass after my blocks. But I'm eager to get back into training again! Okay - sounds good to me. I've got toothpicks holding up my eyelids so I'm about to knock off for the night, after I finish the current WP:CP log I'm on, so we'll pick up Friday. 'Night! - KrakatoaKatie 04:27, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

The Mickey Mouse Club

Skyler Morgan (talk) 20:32, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

While every sentence of this Wiki Article isn't strongly sourced, it doesn't mean he doesn't meat notability requirements for an article. I have scanned and uploaded quite a few of my sources at: http://zacharyjaydonwiki.blogspot.com/

Also, the following was taken directly from WP:N#MUSIC:

Criteria for composers and lyricists

For composers, songwriters, librettists or lyricists:

  1. Has credit for writing or co-writing either lyrics or music for a notable composition.

(, , )

The 3 above sources are all from www.ASCAP.com which is one of the most trusted sources used on Wiki for Songwriter Credit Verification.

() also shows from a VERY large, Fortune 500 companies website with information on Close To Home and confirming Mr. Jaydon's Songwriting Credits. This website would be considered reliable on any front, and also independent of the subject himself.

The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence

Hello. In light of the fact that it is the first book the U.S. government ever went to court to censor before its publication(!), I was hoping you could help improve the The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence article as part of an effort to make it worthy of becoming a featured article candidate? --Loremaster (talk) 14:11, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Even though it is not to promote anything, it is still annoying to receive a message that has been spammed across hundreds of user pages, there are other ways to get people to notice an article, please stop. Thank you. The DominatorEdits 14:32, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
I was discriminately contacting everyone involved in the Cold War WikiProject rather than people at random. Since everyone has and will only received one message, I fail to see why that would annoy anyone. That being said, my apologies. --Loremaster (talk) 14:50, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
No problem, but I'm just saying, it might have been better to add it to the project's talk page for example if you wanted the article to come to attention. Or maybe the literature project or something. The DominatorEdits 17:21, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Re: Userbox

Glad to have been of service, and shame you missed the MfA and related RfA for it. I feel should mention that according to the masses having this userbox makes you unfit for adminship (viz prev. linked RfA), so be prepared for that if you're using it. And if you want a great and really detailed (70 meg-ish) map of the first Czechoslovakia, made sometime between 1938-1947 (since I finally got it on my server ), it is here (I recommend you save as, 70 meg images and most browsers don't play nice). +Hexagon1 06:58, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

ready to start again?

I am, whenever you're ready - no hurry. I moved my youngest to college a few days ago and this is a big, old, empty, very quiet house now. I'm getting ready for my fantasy football league's draft which takes place on September 1 at 5pm Eastern, so if I'm not here I'm most likely into serious draft prep. 32 NFL teams and I've got to know all 55 players on each team, or I'll lose. And I hate to lose. I'm leading my 16-team fantasy baseball league (at the moment) and fantasy baseball is more of a daily thing than football - with fantasy football the hard work is mostly at the beginning, while baseball entails daily management.

But I digress. Let me know when you're ready and we'll pick up where we left off. :-) KrakatoaKatie 04:56, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Are you sure? You did read my talk page, didn't you? I'm on drugs, I've fallen for propaganda, I'm incompetent, and I can't read English. I wasn't any of those things before my RFA. ;-) How was your vacation? - KrakatoaKatie 19:39, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

You may wish to have a look at this debate, which I was recently involved in. Re: What's up

Unfortunately my chronic laziness isn't helping with how busy I've been of late - I now actually have to use creepy invasive business planner software synced to my phone just to remember everything I'm supposed to do. The problem is I've developed a reflex to turn the alarm off as soon as it rings so I still manage to miss half my day. :) How are you going? Are you sure you don't feel like using instant messaging software? It would greatly simplify these kinds of chats. +Hexagon1 05:16, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

It'd be great if you did, my IM data is on my user. :) +Hexagon1 06:20, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
You'll greatly enjoy this wiki then, it is teeming with anti-religion arguments and hilarious pictures and cartoons. Good night! +Hexagon1 07:15, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Cool, I've authorised you. I still forgive myself a casual anti-religious joke here and there but I mostly just enjoy the freedom to eat pork, sleep around, and spend Friday evenings in a drunken stupor that has me waking up tattooed in a condom-laden gutter on the west-end of Oxford Street on Saturday mornings... well, I may be exaggerating a little but you get my point. +Hexagon1 12:16, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

DRV on Shirley the Loon

The deletion of that article is being discussed, and I appreciate your input. FMAFan1990 (talk) 02:33, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Jessica Hinojosa

Hi, you tagged the article Jessica Hinojosa for deletion. I tried looking up some info on her and I found an IMDB link: . This still would not fulfill WP:N correct? (I am not the original author.) --Macrowiz (talk) 05:18, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Just the existence of an IMDb page does not. A Google search: still does not prove notability. As an actress she does not seem notable (according to IMDb, only the one Barney and Friends role). I'm not sure of her role in the Obama campaign, I can't access the one page I found without being registered there, but I would be really surprised if she was notable through that. Google News Archives show up nothing that seems relevant, so I think the decision to delete was appropriate. The DominatorEdits 05:23, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! I understand. --Macrowiz (talk) 05:26, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Enter_Article

This article has a bad title, "Enter article", and there already is an article on that topic. Would you suggest that I rename the article before proposing a merger? Both articles seem to fall under WP:A7 anyway. --Macrowiz (talk) 14:17, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, I see the problem got resolved. I'm not entirely sure whether an article with a bad name really falls under a speedy deletion criterion, I probably would have just A7 the Enter Article one and left the other one be (or possibly put it up for Articles for Deletion, doesn't seem to quite meet speedy deletion). Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia

Hi - I noticed that you reverted PhotoCatBot's change to Talk:Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia. Why does the article still have a {{reqphoto}} template when there are several excellent photographs already on the page? If the editors of this article are looking for some specific image which isn't yet available, can you make that explicit by adding an "of=" parameter to the {{reqphoto}} template? Otherwise it's not clear to other editors what photos are needed. Thanks! Tim Pierce (talk) 21:08, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

I probably won't be here every day for a while - we are in the middle of baseball season, after all ;-) - so when I'm not here, keep working in the article space. I'd also like you to pitch in at WP:SCV. You don't have to be an admin to work there (or at WP:CP); it will show you the extent of the copyright problems we have and you'll develop an eye for what is and isn't something to worry about.

I'll check in with you Monday or Tuesday. Welcome back! - KrakatoaKatie 21:49, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I've created User:Dominik92/Coach2 with the beginning of the second phase. I've got it watchlisted and I'll check in with you in a couple of days. Have a good weekend! :-) - KrakatoaKatie 01:03, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Re:

Oh, sorry, I uninstalled Adium, almost everyone's on Facebook now so I just use that (or good old fashioned mobile phones). It's frightening we live in an age where a mobile is considered old fashioned. Anyway, do you use Facebook? Email me a link to your profile if you do, or if you don't we can always continue our on-again off-again year-long-conversation by email. Life's pretty busy, six days away from my first HSC exam (our equivalent to the American SATs, not sure what you use in Canada). Really should maybe consider looking into starting studying, I guess. :) Not sure what's with the name change. Really. No idea. But why not? —what a crazy random happenstance 05:45, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Admin Coaching

Hi, I was doing a bit of tidying up at Misplaced Pages:Admin coaching/Requests for Coaching, and I saw that your status was "Match Pending".

I also see from above that you were doing coaching - is it still happening? If so, could you please ask your coach to add you to the list at Misplaced Pages:Admin coaching/Status and remove your entry at the Requests page?

If it fell through, and you are still interested in being coached, could you remove the "Match pending" from the list?

If, on the other hand, you are no longer interested in being coached, perhaps you would consider removing your request from the list?

Veselé Vánoce!

'tis the season to be jolly! Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! Or as the case may be, a high-spirited Hanukkah, a killer Kwanzaa, a hearty Hogmanay, a smashing Silvester, or even a spiffy Saturnalia! And don't forget to spread the holiday cheer by pasting {{subst:User:Happenstance/Xmas}} to the talk pages of all your little friends, and even one or two of your enemies too, in the spirit of the holiday, no? Season's greetings, from —what a crazy random happenstance 08:30, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Dominik, please, if you would have the time, could you change the Eastern Europe to Central Europe in the Article Slovakia as per the same rationale as regarding Hungary and Czech Republic? The article is protected and I cannot edit it, and don't know the way to do it.

Thank you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Slobo486 (talkcontribs) 21:39, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

There has been a new and expanded preferential poll created on Talk:Karkonosze similar to the recent Ireland poll. ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New deal for page patrollers

Hi Dominik92,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
