As a suggestion, perhaps material and links providing "review, opinion and critique" of published works should not be included in the "teachings and beliefs" of this encyclopedic/biographical site. By definiton, this site is intended to be an encylopedic/biographical site of a contemporary teacher of the Bible foremost. —Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 19:15, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

The current image of Camping is highly unflattering. The face looks grumpy and half-asleep, the raised finger gives an impression of "annoying know-it-all", and the bible in the foreground only adds to create a persona of "crazed old man". I'm by no means a supporter of his teachings and am a convinced atheist, but the picture appears to be some sort of atheist propaganda is outright rude to this deceased man.
This is a non-free image, so why not choose something that would depict the man in a serious and encyc manner? New pic? Current is borderline ridiculing

We could try finding another image, or just remove it entirely. Gaioa (T C L) 09:54, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

I've gone ahead and removed the image. Gaioa (T C L) 16:52, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
I have replaced the image since it is a fair use image of a deceased person. A new image should be uploaded to replace the current image instead of deleting this image. Aspects (talk) 01:59, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
