== Your edits to ] ==

You reverted my edit to add humidicrib as another name for this -- it is a common name for it in Australian English, and also some other nearby countries (maybe due to Australian influence.) I cannot understand your justification for your comments "The recent edit that you made to the page Neonatal intensive-care unit has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive". The only thing that seems to be unconstructive is your reverting. --] (]) 09:22, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
== Help! - Havent used this for ages ==
: Well it would be nice if you put in some refs for your edits wouldnt it. Im not a specialist in that field and cannot distinguish between pure nonsense and scientific jargon so a ref would be of mighty help. <strong>]</strong> <em>]</em> 09:25, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
{{tl|helpme}}
::Well, you could try a simple Google search... I didn't give any references, because although I can find heaps of examples of the word being used, I haven't yet found a definition. More to the point, don't bite the newbies. I was actually being an oldie too lazy to login, but for all you knew I was a newbie, to whom you accused of being unconstructive and reverted without (it appears) doing even momentary research... I don't think that makes Misplaced Pages very welcoming. --] (]) 09:47, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Um, I kind of need someone to help me design one of those assessment tags for a new wikiproject. Im a bit confused using the Class parameter thing and I need a bit of help. The wiki-project that I'm doing it for is Raymond E. Feist series (]). Im not too sure about images but maybe the Image:Rapiere-Morges-2.jpg would be good. Thanks! <strong>]</strong> (<em>]</em>) 00:00, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
::: Im sorry if you got the impression that I was trying to bite you, but my intention was not that. You would be surprised how often humidicrib, bumdibug, (among others do come up). <strong>]</strong> <em>]</em> 21:58, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
:I presume you want something like ], is that right? In which case, you need to create a page with a name like ]. You'll want to see the page , and probably ] as well. That said, I've never created one before so I'm leaving the help tag up in case you need more <span style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;">&mdash;]•]</span> 00:12, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
::YEP, something like that. I try it soon. <strong>]</strong> (<em>]</em>) 00:15, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
:::Hello, here's some code that should be useful for you. This will create a generic talk page header that describes your project, and uses a class parameter to put the talk page into a category used by your project. The code is pretty much directly pirated from another one of these I've written, ]. I've trimmed it down considerably, as a lot of the code I have there isn't necessary for your project. You may want to add a little more information about the project, but it's up to you. Enjoy! ] (]/]/]) 01:58, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

==Tagging==

Hi. I have reverted your because it's a user page therefore the tag isn't applicable. The criterion G7 states: "If the sole author blanks a page outside user space, this can be taken as a deletion request." Thank you. --] (]) 09:29, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

: The is right at the link provided. You cited some refrences that which you claim that it states that fitness first is "GONNA B THER" - but I cannot see anything that states its going to be there. Instead of trying to start a edit war with me - you should provide some refrences. The official store list clearly does not have Fitness First as a store - you have been trying to list it as a store - it is currently a "KIOSK". And "banned for editing without the knowledge of the truth?". Maybe 58.104.14.186 and 220.238.94.203 and several others should be banned "for editing without the knowledge of the truth".

Hi, and thanks for the comment on my talkpage. If you review the history of that RfA, difficult enough considering the number of !votes - almost all support, you will see that a number of questions were previously included that were later as not being appropriate. The remover gave his reasons at ], point 2. Under the circumstances, there being plenty of questions upon which to judge the candidate and the number of responses made on the application, I considered there was no merit in the questions ''that had not already been'' made in earlier questions - and responded to. Please note I am not saying that there was no merit at all, only there was nothing apparently original. I understand that it may not be gratifying to have your considerations "dismissed", but I assure you that it was not vindictive. I hope that my response, while likely not satisfying you, provides the reasoning why the questions were removed. Cheers. ] (]) 23:30, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

== I am unclear why you reverted an edit ==

Fattyjwoods, you reverted my removal of a completely unsupported and purely speculative section of the Piracy article. The "Brain Damage" section is someone's theory pulled out of thin air. There is not a shred of evidence to support it. Such fanciful speculation completely ungrounded in evidence does not belong in Misplaced Pages. And yet you restored it. If you have an advanced degree in History (as I do), you will know well that historians who attempt medical diagnoses on long-dead persons almost always find themselves humiliated when subjected to peer review.

The section is completely without evidence or support of any kind. It is nothing more than someone's fancy, and does not belong in Misplaced Pages. I have no idea why you defended such an inappropriate and absurb section. Please be so kind as to undo your reversion.
:Im really sorry as I revert large amounts of vandalism using a computer software, and I sometimes make mistakes - you may revert my edit if you feel I made a mistake and that other users are fine with it. <strong>]</strong> (<em>]</em>) 22:43, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

== What in the world are you thinking? ==

Where do you get off deleting a question that I have posed to another editor on his or her talk page? Are you totally daft? Reverting with the language
:''Hi, the recent edit you made to User talk:Jim.henderson has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing.''
is intended for a) for vandals, and b) largely for those who have performed their edit in the mainspace.
So what did I do? The editor on whose page I left my message had reverted my edits to an article, and I was unclear as to why, and so I left him a bleeping ''question'' asking him to explain? There was nothing rude, profane, or even mildly heated in my comment (unlike now, when I think I'll burst a blood vessel in a moment). And you took it upon yourself to delete '''''my''''' question.

Well, look, Fatty, get a clue. Unless something is ''clearly'' and obviously an horrible violation of ettiquette (major profanity, personal attack, etc.), it is '''not''' ''your'' place to "protect" ''another'' editor's talk page. Those comments are between he and I, and if he needs protection, he can leave a message asking for it. JFC. ] (]) 04:15, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

:And by the way, Fatty, edit summaries are fine on talk pages, but hardly necessary. Edit summaries explain why I do what I do. That's not necessary on a talk page, the other editor simply has to read my comments. Ok, shortbusser, I'll get along now. ] (]) 04:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

::As you know I sometimes make mistakes because I use a software that detects vandalism and sometimes it turns dodgy and I sometimes don't read things very clearly. I apologise for that - but theres no need to burst a blood vessel over a reverted question. If you think I made a mistake just leave a message on my talk page (like you did) and revert my edit.

::Vandalism is not always in the mainspace - I've had numerous accounts of swearing, blanking, etc. etc. on my talk page before. <strong>]</strong> (<em>]</em>) 02:44, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi {{BASEPAGENAME}},
== vandalized user page ==

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the ] is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group '''New Page Reviewer''' has been created.
I've protected your page for 2 days after yet another vandalism. Cheers! -&nbsp;<font face="Verdana">]&nbsp;]</font> 16:26, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
:Thanks for that - I get that after a de-vandalize a page. <strong>]</strong> (<em>]</em>) 04:24, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most ''current'' experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your ] or on ].
I am having trouble with an editor removing information of mine that is sourced and cited very well. They are telling me that an "uninterested" editor needs to publish the information, which makes no sense to me as an "uninterested" editor would have no reason to do so. Zachary Jaydon was a cast member on The Mickey Mouse Club, and I have cited numerous Official, Reliable, Non-Secondary Disney Publications that provide this information clearly. The editor keeps removing the information without taking the time to check the sources, which can be done if a small amount of effort is put into it. I believe that this goes against Wiki policy as well as a major lack of the assumption of good faith. Removing unsourced information is one thing, but when an editor takes the time to make an article more informative and accurate, it's very discouraging. Please help!

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the ], but other ]es exist. Your edits to Neonatal intensive-care unit

--SJK (talk) 09:22, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Well it would be nice if you put in some refs for your edits wouldnt it. Im not a specialist in that field and cannot distinguish between pure nonsense and scientific jargon so a ref would be of mighty help. Fattyjwoods 09:25, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, you could try a simple Google search... --SJK (talk) 09:47, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Im sorry if you got the impression that I was trying to bite you, but my intention was not that. You would be surprised how often humidicrib, bumdibug, (among others do come up). Fattyjwoods 21:58, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi. I have reverted your edit here because it's a user page therefore the tag isn't applicable. The criterion G7 states: "If the sole author blanks a page outside user space, this can be taken as a deletion request." Thank you. --Efe (talk) 09:29, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Canterbury Earthquake - http://en.wikipedia.org/2010_Canterbury_earthquake

Thanks for your edit re the increased cost - it was a spurious connection anyway, methinks, to relate the cost (orginally at 2 billion) to New Zealand's GDP! (bloody media! :) What a stupid statistic.

Had you not changed it (as the cost has doubled) - I was gonna remove that still irrelevant statistical comment. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by DuncanMcC (talkcontribs) 02:51, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New deal for page patrollers

Hi Fattyjwoods,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

RC Patrol-related Proposals in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
