== Royal Box == == Madonna project ==

Hi, I see that you and I have differing views on whether Royal Box should be included in the Madonna template; it would be good to discuss this on the ] for the template. (I've not reverted your change as there's no value in starting a war on the topic withour discussion, but I'd like to hear a more solid justification for its inclusion.) ] (]) 21:44, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Hey there jwad how r u! hey listen i noticed that you have uploaded several "alternative covers" for some of madonna's singles, i went and did some research and noticed that many of them have many different "alternative covers" depending on the country or place released, i wanted to ask you if we should upload those too or not?? also i wanted to ask your opinion regarding a madonna album tracklist template for each of her albums to be use don the articles of the singes of each album. i noticed a previous user did create templates like that but they were deleted as the user who deleted them said the songs/singles infobox was enough. but i've noticed that othr artists such as rihanna have an album tracklist template for the singles AND a song templates. therefore i believe a template of songs for each of the singles of madonna should be used. what you think??--] (]) 19:22, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

== Celebration ==

Please stop uploading the deluxe edition artwork; standard practice is to use the standard edition cover. It does not matter that the deluxe edition is "more common" because today most deluxe albums sell more than standards, yet we use the standard edition covers. Your reversion in combination with not providing a reason for making an exception is verging on disruptive. –''''']''''' (] / ]) 00:24, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
:It's standard policy for all albums, not just studio albums. And the infobox doc states "An image of the official front cover of the original version of the album". ==MDNA Tour Setlist==

Hey Jwad! Listen, I know the tourbook says the name of the opening is "Gregorian Chants/Virgin Mary" and I agree with you 100% because I have the tourbook. However, a member of Kalakan wrote me on my talk page and said that the chants aren't gregorian and that its an error by the musical director. So I'm not sure. But I'm not going to edit it anymore. But look on my talk page and look what he wrote me! SO CONFUSED!

==Hard Candy==
Please stop with the back-and-forth with the tables. The article's Talk Page has a discussion started about the formatting. Thanks. - ] (]) 17:12, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

== ] ==
==Please stop with the table and headers formatting==
Column headers (or article sub-headers), per ], should only have the first word capitalized unless it is a proper name (i.e. "Production credits", not "Production Credits"). Also, your insistence on putting width restrictions on the columns that do not need them doesn't take into account the way tables look on different browsers and computer monitor sizes. Please stop disrupting the Madonna album articles. - ] (]) 13:54, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
:I'm not ruining what youre doing, I am making corrections to the formatting. The tables do not look squashed and there is no reason to place width restrictions where they are not needed - i.e. the column widths will automatically configure to the text inside of them. This allows different browsers and monitor sizes to see the tables correctly. Please also note the comment above about the headers. - ] (]) 14:04, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

== Please stop the unnecessary tables in Madonna album pages containing esoteric information ==

== ]: Voting now open! ==
Hi,

{{Ivmbox|Hello, Jwad. Voting in the ''']''' is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
I believe that you have interpreted the following paragraph of the WIKI ALBUM guidelines:

The ] is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the ]. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose ], ], editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The ] describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
Particularly for '''hip hop''' albums, it is helpful to list which members of a group (or '''guests''') rap on which verses as well as mentioning sampling sources. This can be done in a nested list, as in the example above. Using a table is '''recommended in more complicated situations''' (see '''Before These Crowded Streets for example'''). If a table is used, it should be formatted using class="wikitable", using column headings "#", "Title" and "Length" for the track number, the track title and the track length, respectively.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review ] and submit your choices on ''']'''. ] (]) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
But please not the words in bold. At NO POINT in the whole of the WIKI ALBUM guidelines does it suggest to include esoteric, unnecessary information such as 'producers', so PLEASE stop reverting to an elaborate but unnecessary table. The format of Madonna's albums is currently under discussion in the Talk page of 'Hard Candy', if you feel strongly about the use of tables, please make your opinion known there and we can all try to reach a consensus.

Welcome to Misplaced Pages!

Welcome!

Hello, Jwad, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Madonna project

Hey there jwad how r u! hey listen i noticed that you have uploaded several "alternative covers" for some of madonna's singles, i went and did some research and noticed that many of them have many different "alternative covers" depending on the country or place released, i wanted to ask you if we should upload those too or not?? also i wanted to ask your opinion regarding a madonna album tracklist template for each of her albums to be use don the articles of the singes of each album. i noticed a previous user did create templates like that but they were deleted as the user who deleted them said the songs/singles infobox was enough. but i've noticed that othr artists such as rihanna have an album tracklist template for the singles AND a song templates. therefore i believe a template of songs for each of the singles of madonna should be used. what you think??--heart ♥ (talk) 19:22, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

Hello

Oh I'm doin just fine! thanx for asking, so yeah cause i've found several different covers and therefore that's my doubt, but yeah i guess you're right, only the relevant ones. Hey BTW think You could help me work on mi girlie show expand It's missing a few details such as the boxscore information, I can't seem to find it i would appreciate if you could help me--heart ♥ (talk) 17:10, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

Another thing, what about in cases where there are 2 more different covers (EG: a japanese 12" and a UK 12")??--heart ♥ (talk) 17:25, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
Oh but the virgin tour and who's that girl tour have boxscore info and they go further back than girlie show.--heart ♥ (talk) 17:26, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

Second cover

Hey man, please stop adding the second cover to Madonna's music article. Second cover is acceptable only if it has significant coverage in the article. For example MDNA article, its second cover is allowed because it has a section 'Titling and artwork', which describe the notability of the second cover. Please understand WP:NFCC before uploading non-free picture to Misplaced Pages. Regards :) Bluesatellite (talk) 05:08, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Black Jesus + Amen Fashion

Hello Jwad. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Black Jesus + Amen Fashion, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: WP:CSD#A9 applies only where the artist has no article, but Lady Gaga has one. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 21:02, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Celebration

Please stop uploading the deluxe edition artwork; standard practice is to use the standard edition cover. It does not matter that the deluxe edition is "more common" because today most deluxe albums sell more than standards, yet we use the standard edition covers. Your reversion in combination with not providing a reason for making an exception is verging on disruptive. –Chase (talk / contribs) 00:24, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

It's standard policy for all albums, not just studio albums. And the infobox doc states "An image of the official front cover of the original version of the album". We're not supposed to use the deluxe cover to push the label's agenda, we're supposed to use the standard image which is the standard edition cover. –Chase (talk / contribs) 18:14, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Source is a tabloid gossip magazine - unreliable!--jwad.... 08:27, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

The First Album

Hey, Jwad. Can you upload the cover for The First Album again? I'm currently working on its artwork section, so we have rationale to include the second cover. Bluesatellite (talk) 12:23, 14 November 2012 (UTC)

MDNA Tour Setlist

We noticed though that when you edited Give Me All Your Luvin', you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Majorette (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:I Am Because We Are poster.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:I Am Because We Are poster.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Misplaced Pages uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Misplaced Pages. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:06, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

hello

Hi there! I recently uploaded an image (2nd coverart) on the Like a Prayer article, and there's been a discussion wether or not the image should be kept or deleted. Like a Prayer and another user decided it should be kept but on another part of the article (Where I Personally think it don't be appropriate), perhaps you could help us come to an agreement??--Cooljules73 (talk) 21:49, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Truth or Dare Naked poster.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Revolver (song)

I hope you are aware that when you revert something as inccorrect, you are not supposed to revert the correct copy-edit changes that are made? If not please familiarize yourself. And I have also removed your Official version addition on "Turn Up the Radio" since Facebook.com is not a reliable source and the Amazon.com did not list the remixes that you added. Please find a reliable source for your addition. —Indian:BIO · 05:26, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Truth or Dare by Madonna poster.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Truth or Dare by Madonna poster.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Misplaced Pages may not meet the criteria required by Misplaced Pages:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Misplaced Pages:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. —IB 19:44, 19 January 2019 (UTC)

The purpose of this message is because Linter errors affect the way the page looks, and with a lot of errors, the page may render badly. To reduce Linter errors, please change your signature. See WP:SIGFONT for more info.

If the software doesn't accept my replacement signature, let me know, and I may give you another replacement signature to use. Otherwise, you may have to change it to something else. Sheep (talkhe/him) 13:23, 19 May 2023 (UTC)

Kylie Minogue

The recent Kylie albums are released by BMG Rights Management, with a star and letter K hybrid logo/trademark appears on physical release (as for example which is actually has registrated by "KDB Pty Ltd."), same with the most of Parlophone release. Plus "Darenote" is a copyright holder and not a record label (which has under licensed to BMG on the recent albums). KDB Pty Limited is not a label and is registered as "Accounting, Tax Preparation, Bookkeeping, and Payroll Services, Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, Accounting, auditing, and bookkeeping" - this is a business and not a label, Darenote Ltd is registered as "Other amusement and recreation activities not elsewhere classified", so again would not be classed as a record label. Her label for recent releases is BMG Rights Management. We had a similar thing with Madonna's last releases from Interscope Records, users were putting Boy Toy Inc. as a label and is a business, also her Maverick Management logo appears on the last set and again is not a label. jwad....

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:"Andromeda" by Tamara de Lempicka.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:"Andromeda" by Tamara de Lempicka.jpg.

Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
