The reason I spoke out regarding Mario1987's ban is due to the fact that while he has not always observed policies nor always been accurate in his endeavors, he has shown a will to better the project and has sworn never again to abuse sock puppets, which is the actual reason he was banned. While my personal inclination was to deny this as being motivated by saying whatever is necessary to avoid a ban, I thought it necessary to assume good faith, as per Misplaced Pages policy. As far as club level you just won't find anything, believe me, I've tried so hard to find statistics for Paraguayan players with no luck. - Not much idea, I haven't really kept track as well as I would have liked but certainly more than 656 biographies. I am most proud of some of the retired player articles that did not even have comprehensive profiles in any Spanish language sources. I have aslo added infoboxes, references additional stats and prose to thousands more biographies that were not written comprehensively or accurately in the first place. I am virtually retired now. I closed the AfD as a snow keep, as rivers are held to be inherently notable and capable of sustaining articles. That said, the nomination reason was WP:OR. Whilst I'm unable to judge the veracity of this, the article is completely unreferenced and I've tagged it as such. Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Misplaced Pages:The 10,000 Challenge and Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Misplaced Pages:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge!
