=== Can Article Rescue Squadron behave like all other wikiprojects === |

Misplaced Pages editors in other wikiprojects are pretty much free to post whatever links they want, this includes deletion reviews, articles for deletion, etc. should Article Rescue Squadron be able to also? |

See, this is where you need to be careful if you don't want to stir up more drama than you need to. The project as it stands is on fairly strong ground; improving and referencing articles can't really be challenged. |
Inviting masses of inclusionists (on that basis), however, isn't really a good look. They might well be people who would be interest, but it looks like you're just trying to stack votes; this sort of partisan stuff goes down ''badly'' on Misplaced Pages, and leads to drama pretty much every time. It might have grown the group significantly, but it's also dragged it into controversy, and not just because of its numbers. |
If you're going to involve yourself in deletion issues, you'll really save yourself a lot of stress if you think a bit about how things might be received. Like I said, if you stick to just improving articles at risk of deletion, and using the project to improve such, then you can't go wrong. The more you drag it into broader inclusion-deletion wars, the more drama you're going to create for yourself and the project. ] (]) 14:16, 9 May 2009 (UTC) |
