They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Re Request

I can assure you that I don't not like you as you suggest. The problem is that despite repeated attempts you keep creating or recreating articles which are on non-notable subjects. Misplaced Pages has notability guidelines which need to be maintained otherwise we would be full of articles on subjects which simply aren't notable. You should make a point of reading WP:N, WP:GNG and WP:NSONGS to see why I've nominated a number of your articles for deletion. If you've taken my actions as a personal attack, I can only apologise, that certainly is not what I intended. However, I maintain the articles I've nominated for deletion should be removed from Misplaced Pages. I hope this helps clear the air, --JD554 (talk) 13:30, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Proskpects March

Adding the information that you've been trying to create articles for to the Prospekts March article is a good idea. It's worth noting though that anything you add needs to be verified by reliable sources (see WP:V and WP:RS). It's probably also a good idea if you have a look at some of the links that are in the welcome message at the top or this page, paying particular attention to the "Policies and guidelines section". ...And don't forget that anything you do add is likely to be edited mercilessly by other editors. Don't take it personally though, we all simply want to make the articles better. The best place for non-notable songs would be their parent album, a big list of non-notable songs would simply create a non-notable list. However, the songs you've mentioned already have their own articles or are already in better placed articles: Life in Technicolor II, Lost+ and Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Mix). --JD554 (talk) 14:16, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

A page like that is likely to be redirected/deleted as well as it will simply contain non-notable songs and therefore not meet the notability criteria itself. It would be best to simply create a section in the Prospekts March article for information regarding the specific songs not released as singles. --JD554 (talk) 14:33, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

No, see WP:ALBUMS#Tracklising, that section is simply for the tracklising. Any other information should be in a separate music and/or lyrics section along the lines of Blood Sugar Sex Magik or Thriller (album). Page moves

Please use more discretion when considering page moves. Several of your recent moves have been without any discussion, and have resulted in incorrect page placement that other editors have had to repair. One in particular - Pavel Chekov - created a real mess with the multiple moves and redirects. In future, it would be better to first propose moves on the article's talk page. Seriously. Please discuss page moves prior to making them. You have made a series of moves that do not meet the requirements of the Style Guide, and you have not discussed them. WP:OWN

I notice that you created many new Coldplay song articles and take it very personally when someone comments about your edits or makes changes to them. Note that no one "owns" articles per se on Wiki. This is a collaborative project and anything you add to Misplaced Pages will be edited or changed by other users, especially when it's in violation of existing Wiki policy, in this case WP:NSONGS.

WP:NSONGS is our basic notability guidelines for inclusion of songs in Misplaced Pages. We aren't a personal blog or Coldplay fan page/wiki, so we don't include independent articles for each track from the band. Promo releases

First of all - don't talk to me like I'm an idiot ... comprende? You aren't clear if these are promo releases or singles. A promo release is a release that is given to radio stations etc to play when an album or dvd is being released, but they aren't available to buy. A full release is one that it is possible to buy. Forgive me if I'm on the wrong page (don't know if you'll look at this or The Chauffeur), but I'm unsure of which to post it. While I am also a fan of those three U2 songs, please note that all three violate Misplaced Pages's policy on Notability, found at WP:N, hence why they have been made into redirects. Instead of edit-warring over the matter, please discuss the issue on either the respective talk pages or at Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject U2 if you really feel that they are notable enough to warrant their own articles, with reasons to substantiate your claims. Hi, Das Ansehnlisch, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron! We are a growing community of Misplaced Pages editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles that have been tagged for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated! Some points that may be helpful: Our main aim is to help improve articles, so if someone seeks help, please try to assist if you are able. Likewise feel free to ask for help, advice and clarification. Many times we are asked to help rescue articles by people new to our notability and sourcing policies. If the article is not fixable we can help explain why and offer alternatives. Many of these editors are also new to Misplaced Pages so may see deleting "their" article as "bitey". Encourage civility and maybe even {{welcome}} them if they have only been templated with deletion messages. The Articles for deletion (AfD) discussion is where the concerns regarding each article are brought up and addressed. To be an effective member of the project you need to know how AfD works as well as how to improve articles. Introduction to deletion process gives a good overview and some good advice for newcomers to deletion. Our primary work is improving articles tagged for rescue. On this template you can see a drop-down list of current articles tagged. You can install it on your own page by putting {{ARS/Tagged}}. A more dynamic list with article links and description is on our current articles page. It is highly recommended you watchlist it. If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to the list of translators available. Articles and sources that use non-English languages often need translation for those of us who cannot translate for ourselves. Hi, Das Ansehnlisch. Looking through the edits since I unblocked you I can see: A silly attack on a person (calling people "dipshits"), you re-uploading a deleted image (ITSISK.jpg), and some reverting of edits without the courtesy of noting why on either the article's talk page or the reverted editors talk page. Copyright violation

Abbey Road medley

Changing the individual song articles to redirects and moving the content to a single article is a big change and requires consensus. I've reverted the changes. Please do not change it again without seeking and achieving consensus. IMO, I don't think many editors will agree with you. The songs are listed separately on the original album and were recorded mostly separately despite the goal of presenting them seamlessly. Regarding your comment that it was "presented and played live in the wat of a medley" is not correct. The album cover makes no mention of a medley and while the album mix presents the songs mostly seamlessly, that's not the same thing. Many separate musical works are presented seamlessly via segues. Also, The Beatles never played the song live, and the interpretation of other artists doesn't matter.

One issue with your proposed change is where to have a wider discussion. I'm not sure that many people would see the discussion if it were on Talk:Abbey Road medley. Even tho USSR and Helter Skelter appear on the "White Album" -- the singles (*BOTH SIDES) are from the Rock N Roll Music album. It's not correct to put them in the White Album.

Project Talk Page The WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter Issue XIII - August 2009 Project News There has been some discussion on if a monthly newsletter is viable. The current result is not clear, though it appears for the time being months will simply be skipped as necessary when project activity is low. There has been a heated debate on how to deal with criticism and controversy in Eurovision Song Contest article, with a proposal made to re-organise articles to avoid dedicated "controversy" and "criticism" sections in order to have maximum neutral point of view policy compliance. As a result of continued coverage on Azerbaijan-Armenia relations and its impact on the Eurovision Song Contest a new dedicated article on the issue has been created at Armenia–Azerbaijan relations in the Eurovision Song Contest. Discussion about the article name occurred at Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2010#Suggestion on azerbaijan-armenia conflict. Eurovision News 23 countries have confirmed their participation in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. This includes the confirmed return of Georgia, and the confirmed withdrawal of the Czech Republic. The RTL Group has declared that they are seriously considering a return of Luxembourg to the Eurovision Song Contest for 2010. Azerbaijan's participation in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest has been put in doubt following controversial actions which are believed to have occurred after the 2009 Contest. Azerbaijan has denied that any questioning of individuals over voting in the contest has occurred. A return of the orchestra has been proposed for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest with Jan Fredrik Heyerdahl of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra declaring interest in participating. Page Milestones Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 has been declined GA status due to sourcing, with the issue of reliable sourcing being brought up once again in the discussion. Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 has been nominated for GA status but is on hold with many improvements still required for GA status. Eurovision Song Contest has been demoted to B-class from FA due to various issues highlighted in a long discussion. From the Members Welcome to the thirteenth edition of the WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter! August 2009 will not be remembered as a good month for WikiProject Eurovision. The number of this newsletter might have something to do with it, other possible explanations include circumstances, time of year, and even just coincidence. In any case we have had no new members and no further GA or FA article promotions. The demotion of Eurovision Song Contest, probably the most important article on the project, was a historic blow. Reasons for this and other demotions in recent months include an inflation of article standards, article deterioration through inappropriate edits, and possibly inappropriate promotions in some cases. We should remember however that despite these demotions we still have 2 FAs, 9 GAs, and 41 B-class articles, as well as 2 Featured Lists. This is a big achievement for a project with only 75 members, a small amount compared to other projects. To compare WikiProject Schools has 292 members with no newsletter, and WikiProject Video games has a massive 1,298 members with only a quarterly newsletter. This project will likely be disadvantaged for a long time to come with limited membership and fluctuating activity during the year, but it will grow out of this blip. Re: Song article redirects

It doesn't matter how "great" a song is; to Misplaced Pages, it's immaterial. The notability guideline for music notes that, in the case of songs, "most..do not rise to notability for an independent article and should redirect". Songs that have charted, primarily singles, or songs that have been covered several times by a variety of artists, can (but are not always) seen as being notable enough for their own article. The only other reason a song may qualify for its own article is when there is enough verified information for a detailed article to be created. This last criterion is the main difference between articles such "A Sort of Homecoming (song)" and "White as Snow (song)". One has a lot of detailed information; the other doesn't.

Believe me, I've searched for information on just about every U2 song. I've trawled the net, and every U2-related book that I own. But there just isn't any real information available for them. The songs that I redirected were primarily composed of the number of times that the band played each song. And that just isn't what it takes to make an article. (By the way, please forgive me for the lateness of my response; I've been without any internet access for a week due to a change of location). • because multiple images for a single article (your latest solution) will fail free-use guidelines unless there is some important reason why both images are necessary (there isn't).
• because of the problems with the images.
• because I asked you to seek consensus. That means you have to go to the talk page of the image or the article(s) where it is used and propose a change.
• Lastly, because the images you uploaded do not have adequate fair-use rationales so they will probably be deleted.

Use of IP to edit during a block

This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour per the rules of conduct governing use of the site. Note that, although your account is blocked from editing, you still have access to your talk page. As such, you could easily have left the message for Coldplay Expert here instead of using an IP to avoid the block. If you had only left a note, I might have been inclined to overlook the incident and leave you with a warning. However, you have repeatedly used the IP address to edit during your block. I am sure you are angry right now and I don't want to add to it but I will risk that to offer some advice and encouragement. I hope you will take the time to read this and give it some thought.

I think you have something to add to Misplaced Pages and it will be a shame if you continue along the path you've been on. Before you can contribute in a useful way, you will have to accept that WP is a collaborative editing environment where multiple editors combine to create and modify articles.

If you are passionate about a topic, you may not like having other people criticize your contributions, revert them, etc. I know I don't. Unfortunately, it's inevitable: whenever there are two or more people involved, disagreements are going to happen. When they do, it's critical to stay civil, stop editing, and try to work things out. That means editors should propose and discuss alternatives, apply any relevant Misplaced Pages policies or guidelines, etc. If someone with a strong opinion ignores the process—and the other editors—the situation will get worse before it gets better.

In my opinion, the most important thing for you is to avoid edit wars. If someone disagrees with one of your edits and reverts it, avoid the temptation to revert it back. If you feel strongly that your edit improves the article, edit the appropriate talk page—usually, the article's talk page—and explain why you think your edit improves the article. If you don't do that, and instead you redo whatever you did in the first place, you put the other editor on the defensive and hurt your chances of persuading anyone that your edit improves the article.

If you promise to try and become a better collaborator, I suspect that an admin will unblock you before the end of your current month-long block. Once you can edit again you'll probably discover (again) that collaboration isn't easy. Over time, however, you will see that some of your changes will be accepted after they have been contested because you followed the process and convinced other editors that your edit improved the encyclopedia.

Project Talk Page The WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter Issue XIV - September and October 2009 Project News This is the first edition of the WikiProject Eurovision newsletter in a bimonthly format. Following a discussion on the project talk page this may now become the regular format for the newsletter during the months that the project is less active. Eurovision articles are being repeatedly targeted by sock puppets of banned user Xtinadbest (talk · contribs), who is not allowed to edit Misplaced Pages. The most effective way of tackling this disruption is to have all regular Eurovision article editors looking out for sock puppets. Editors should report any suspected sock puppets sighted to Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations, more history can be found at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Xtinadbest/Archive. A proposal was made to change Misplaced Pages:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) to discourage the use of numeric dates, primarily YYYY-MM-DD (e.g. 2009-08-12 for 12 August 2009), in footnotes as at present it is only discouraged in the main article body. The proposal now seems unlikely to pass due to large levels of opposition, though it could have had a large impact on this project as the date format YYYY-MM-DD is frequently used in Eurovision for reference publication and access dates. Further discussion can be found on the project talk page. Eurovision News 31 countries have confirmed their participation in the 2010 Contest. ESCToday has suggested that the Eurovision Song Contest may be entering a crisis due to the possibility of a large drop in the number of participants next year with the ongoing international recession hitting the budgets of many broadcasters in Europe. Luxembourg and Monaco have both ruled out a return to the Eurovision Song Contest for 2010. A decision by San Marino on if to return or not has not yet been made. Hungary declared it is pulling out of the Eurovision Song Contest due to the financial difficulties of the national broadcaster Magyar Televízió (MTV). National selection details for the 2010 Contest are now available for sixteen countries. Despite the contest being over six months away, Bulgaria has already announced that the artist that will represent the country in 2010 will be Miroslav Kostadinov (who is frequently referred to as Miro). It has been announced that the voting system used for the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals will change in 2010. The previous system was introduced in 2008 along with the first use of two semi-finals; it involved nine out of ten final places per semi-final being determined exclusively by televote, with the tenth place being determined by juries. This will be replaced by a more balanced 50% jury voting, 50% televoting system. The 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to occur next month on 21 November. 13 countries are participating in the contest, while three (Bulgaria, Greece, and Lithuania) are withdrawing. Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 was nominated for GA status and was placed on hold for almost a month. The GA nomination has now failed due to some remaining issues. From the Members Welcome to the fourteenth edition of the WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter! There have been quite a few updates to the 2010 Contest article since 1 September. Nine countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, Macedonia, Malta, Poland, Serbia, and Slovenia) have confirmed their participation, and the article in general has seen many changes. Sadly, whilst some editors have been working hard to provide reliable sources, others have been less thorough and the article has had to be semi-protected again to prevent further disruption. This is a shame, as ideally anyone should be able to edit; however, the talk page is always available to bring new information to light. The participating countries' section has also been updated to allow the inclusion of information about the language, artist and song (with an English translation as appropriate), although to date this is very much a work in progress. As news comes in, we look forward to enriching this section in the coming months—backed-up of course with sources! No new country-specific articles have been written these past two months. If you want to add more detailed information about a country's participation in the 2010 Contest, this is the ideal way to do it, and they are very much appreciated by our readers. Let it Be

You should be informed that the songs "Let it Be" and "Get Back" on the Let it Be album are different mixes compared to the versions released as singles. Therefore, the songs are NOT included in the Let it Be album in the single mixes. That's why they are not listed as singles. On CD, the single mixes are available on the Past Masters compilation. I see you are back from your block and you have repeated the same edits that got you blocked. All your edits have been reverted; they go against policy, guidelines, and consensus. For situations where a song was released long after its release as a single, which happened multiple times with The Beatles, editors have agreed that the song's initial release should be an {{Infobox song}} entry: the initial release is supposed to be in the infobox. In many cases, the single release has been given its own infobox to clearly indicate those release dates, etc. Multiple editors have accepted that solution. Das Ansehnlisch, multiple editors have reverted your edits. The editors in question have thousands of edits to Misplaced Pages. That does not mean they have some special privilege, but it does mean they are experienced. When such editors revert your edits, you should reconsider your position. In this case, when you made the same type of edits (in some cases, the same edits) in the past you were blocked multiple times by neutral admins. What do you expect to happen this time? Using messages in all caps is typically interpreted by other editors as shouting, and I can assure you that shouting at me (or other editors) won't help your case. There are three ways to proceed:

1. Describe why you think the singles should be handled differently on the talk page of a single song article and see what other editors think, including why they agree or disagree.
2. Accept that the handling of songs/singles, etc., is not done the way you want it and focus your efforts elsewhere.
3. Keep repeating the edits.

If you choose the last option, you'll probably wind up blocked for a long time, perhaps indefinitely. Frankly, your pattern of behavior indicates that your heading in that direction. — John Cardinal (talk) 17:02, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: two infoboxes. Multiple editors have approved of that method for the Beatle singles that were released eight or ten years after their original release as album tracks. Specifically, "Back in the U.S.S.R." was notable as a song released on The Beatles long before the single release. The infobox should cover the original release, including release dates, etc., it confuses matters to put the much-later single release in the same box. You should stop editing articles until you understand that encyclopedic content must be verifiable and thus supported by reliable sources.

If you listen to something on Youtube or on a CD or wherever, you can't be sure who is playing, and you can't be sure it's even the instrument you think it is, and it's WP:OR, which is not allowed on WP. Meanwhile, reliable sources (Lewisohn, MacDonald, etc.) have listened to tapes and reviewed studio documentation and made assertions about what instrument is used and who played it. "Helen Wheels"

Please stop deleting Band on the Run from the "Helen Wheels" infobox. The US version of the album was released before the UK version, and the US version included "Helen Wheels". That more than justifies the "from Band on the Run" infobox entry. — John Cardinal (talk) 17:34, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Yes, but the single was released before the album, and it was against Paul's wishes for it to be on the album. Besides, for stuff like this we go by official UK release.--Das Ansehnlisch (talk) 17:40, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

First, the release date of the single was close to the release date of the album and the single was used to promote the album. Second, McCartney agreed to the inclusion on the US album. He was reluctant, but he relented. Third, WP editors have not agreed that the UK releases are "official" for McCartney's solo albums.

Lastly, but most importantly, you changed long-standing article text. It was reverted. Wiki policies state that if your change is reverted, you should take the matter to the article's talk page. You have not done that. That's your standard operating procedure; you refuse to collaborate. If I discuss this matter with any of the admins who have blocked you before, they will block you again, and it won't be a short block; by convention, it should be longer than your last block. Project Talk Page The WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter Issue XV - November and December 2009 Project News Happy Christmas and new year from WikiProject Eurovision. This is the second edition of the newsletter to be in a bimonthly format. This will probably continue at least up until the next Eurovision Song Contest when the project is more active. Editors are reminded that some articles covered WikiProject Eurovision are subject to the biographies of living persons policy. This does not just include biography articles such as Alexander Rybak, but any article with material related to living persons. Such information is highly sensitive, and unsourced or poorly sourced material about living persons must be removed immediately. Material which may seen trivial to editors, such as a false claim of participation in a contest, can potentially be highly sensitive to the living persons involved. Eurovision articles on this project have been repeatedly subject to a form of sneaky vandalism. This involves unregistered users adding false information to articles such as Eurovision Song Contest 2010 (while unprotected). These false claims are then made to look legitimate through the use of "fake references" with false titles and links, example. Cuchufleta (talk · contribs) was blocked indefinitely for creating multiple hoax articles with the same editing technique. Editors are advised to look out for further disruption of this kind, as it seems to be originating from a determined individial or an organised group. Eurovision News The EBU released their participants list for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest on 31 December 2009. 39 countries will take part. Five of these qualify directly to the final, with the 34 remaining countries each competing in one of two semi-finals (seventeen per semi-final). Five countries have declared they will be withdrawing from the contest in 2010. The Czech Republic are withdrawing due to three semi-final failures and a lack of interest from Czech viewers. Andorra, Hungary, Lithuania, and Montenegro have all declared they are withdrawing for financial reasons. Georgia is the only country that has declared it will be returning to the contest. No debuts are planned either with Liechtenstein's only broadcaster 1FLTV having ruled out joining the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for December 2009. This made a debut by the country for the 2010 Contest no longer possible. Despite the 2010 Contest being many months away countries are now actively declaring which artists and songs will be representing them at the contest. Another decade has past for the Eurovision Song Contest. The naughties will probably be remembered as a decade of both success and controversy for the contest. Televoting reached its peak in the early 2000s. This gave the contest a more democratic edge, but by 2008 it was widely believed to have made Eurovision resemble a political and geographic football match rather than a song contest. The EBU took action in 2009 by reducing televoting to having only a 50% weighting in the results of each contest. Many new countries have joined the contest in the last decade, bringing the number of participants to a new high. Among this some countries withdrew while others returned, though one of the major missing countries, Italy, did not make a return as was hoped by many. There was not a shortage of controversy either. Two participants went to war, and the buzz over the planned participation of Kosovo put Eurovision in the middle of a political storm. Okay, I can't even edit my own sandbox! How is Beatles Bible not a reliable source? They list plenty of sources and know about the personnel of a song from it's master tracks, ect. You can't just rely on books, as many are incorrect.--Das Ansehnlisch (talk) 20:48, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

The Beatles Bible is a site that uses reliable resouces for it's information. I am pretty sure they know more about the songs than Ian McDonald does, and you cannot always trust a book.

Decline reason:

If I take your point correctly, you are saying that information you got from some random Beatles fansite is better than information in a researched, published book by an actual expert on the subject. I don't think you understand WP:RS well enough to continue editing. If you really believe there are that many errors in Beatles articles, you need to be discussing your changes instead of going on a spree of changing the details for song after song. Frankly, the articles on the Beatles are generally among the better written and researched articles on rock musicians, it's unlikely they are as riddled with errors as you seem to think. Well, It's more of a guide than a fansite. And it is researched. Just give it a chance, they know what they're doing. There are two people who basically are experts on the songs, Joe and SD. He was granted full access to the Beatles master recordings of these songs and spent years writing his book. • This isn't strictly related to your unblock so I'm posting it outside of the unblock request. Some of the edits you made regarding what Ringo was playing in each song are a bit misguided. A drum set or drum kit is, as the names imply, a variety of drums and cymbals assembled together and played as a single instrument. There's no need to list the individual elements used during each song, the casual reader for whom Misplaced Pages is supposed to be written, is not interested in that level of detail. If there's something unusual being used, that's one thing, but listing "hi-hat" or "bass drum" as though they are instruments unto themselves is probably only going to confuse most readers. Please try to open your mind to what these people are saying; you say that we can't always trust books, but if that's the case, then we can't trust fan sites either. We can distrust books and believe what we want in non-Misplaced Pages life, but on Misplaced Pages, books are more trustworthy than someone else's words. Original research does not necessarily have to be yours to be original research. I hope this clarifies things. Project Talk Page The WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter Issue XVI - January and February 2010 Project News The articles by quality table has been changed for all WikiProjects as a result of changes to the WP 1.0 bot. Due to these changes editors are encouraged to add the {{EurovisionNotice}} banner to the talk pages of categories, files, templates, portals, disambiguation pages, as well as articles and project pages. This has the benefit of making the table more complete and covering such pages under article alerts. An FAQ has been created for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 page in an attempt to mitigate repetitive discussions on the talk page about content in the article. This has not been previously done for a Eurovision article, though they are also used in other high profile areas such as Barack Obama and global warming. There has been persistent problems on Anna Vissi related articles with a disruptive IP hopping editor making repeated sweeping and unwanted changes to the articles despite being asked to stop. An account that displayed similar behaviour, JORJKIE.AV (talk · contribs), has now been blocked indefinitely and some pages have had to be semi-protected for long periods. Disruption continues from sock puppets of banned user Xtinadbest (talk · contribs), including on Eurovision related articles. Editors are advised to report suspicious activity from new accounts to Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Xtinadbest. Eurovision News On 7 February 2010 a draw was held to decide which semi-final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest each country will participate in. The draw also decided, for countries qualified straight to the final, which semi-final they will vote in. Notable confirmed changes to the format of the Eurovision Song Contest this year include that the semi-finals will now be divided into two halves, and that voting will be open throughout each show rather than only after all entries have preformed. Five countries have now confirmed participation in the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest which is scheduled for 20 November 2010. The contest will be held in Minsk, Belarus. It was announced in January 2010 that the Third Eurovision Dance Contest has been postponed a second time. It was originally due to be held in 2009, but was then postponed till 2010, and may now not happen at all, at least within the next two years. Due to disruption the page was also protected to prevent re-creation. Users may consult an administrator or make a nomination at deletion review if they wish to make a good faith attempt at re-writing the article. Je ne sais quoi (song) was nominated for deletion at AfD and kept. The participation of WikiProject Eurovision members was commented on during the discussion. Although the Eurovision Song Contest is around 2 months away, this is probably one of the busiest times of the year for the WikiProject, with a whole load of semi-finals, quarter finals, heats as well as national finals to see who the country chooses to represent them at this years Eurovision Song Contest.
