==Check your userpage links! (and protect your page!)==
Hi, you talked to me about assuming good faith. Well, it's 12 years later and I invite you to see what had happened to the Falun Gong and organ harvesting articles. Have a great day :D ] (]) 03:01, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Hi, Happy in General, I came to check your page when I saw that links on Asdfg12345's seemed to have been changed. (He used your intro, the authorship of which he kindly attributed.) Most of them now come up with an error of some kind, and the link to the Falun Dafa Information Center had been changed to Samuel Luo's "The Untold History of Falun Gong," although the link title showed up the same. I changed this one back since I know the link and didn't think you meant it to lead to Samuel Luo's piece. Anyway, I don't know who did it, but I hope you're able to correct the links. Asdfg seems to have protected his user page at a higher level than you (I couldn't correct his Falun Dafa Info Center link), which I would suggest you do, too.
:Hi again, HappyInGeneral, I think I managed to correct all of your links again, but I really would suggest protecting your page if there is a way to do so...

Hello,
The awards and recognition image contains a non-neutral point of view. == Edit warring ==

Basically, here is the problem with your recent behavior, and your question to me. I am an administrator, but I have no more authority in content decisions than you. Assuming that your change is essential, well sourced, and relevant, your ''conduct'' in putting it in is still unacceptable. If another editor reverts the addition, the proper way to resolve the conflict is ''not'' to simply add it back in ad infinitum. It is to discuss the issue, seeking mediation (see ]). To put it blunter, the edit war and elsewhere will result in a block ''for both parties'' if it doesn't stop, regardless of who is right in the content issue; both of you are wrong in your way of resolving the dispute. ]·] 21:18, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

== Dead links ==

Hi HappyInGeneral. Thanks for helping to clean up articles, but please be careful about removing deadlinks, as you did in . Per ], you usually should not just remove a reference right away if it's dead, because archived versions may be available, or the link may come online, or the reference title and information may still be useful even if the link is down. Generally, the appropriate thing to do is tag it with {{tl|dead link}} and/or search for an archived version at a place like http://web.archive.org . In this particular case, the link seems to be back up already.

Thanks, <b class="Unicode">]</b>&nbsp;<small>]/]</small> 18:20, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

I know you're away and I hope you're having a relaxing time, or a stressful time if that's what you prefer, but I'd like to call your attention to a discussion and vote that might interest you. A few of the new editors, a few of the old and myself are again pondering a merge of the two articles on organ harvesting in China. Please visit the discussion when you find the time and I'll keep a slot open for your voice. ] (]) 16:42, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

One day, a wise man listened impassively as his critics berated and insulted him during a discussion.
After the end of the discussion, an observer asked him how it made him feel to be treated so.
The elder smiled for a moment, then said "It makes me very happy."
A student, who had been upset already, demanded "How can it make you happy to be treated so!?!?"
His teacher explained, still smiling, "Because, my impetuous young friend, I am not them."

Thank you! Have a nice day!

Clarification motion

A case (Falun Gong) in which you were involved has been modified by motion which changed the wording of the discretionary sanctions section to clarify that the scope applies to pages, not just articles. For the arbitration committee --S Philbrick(Talk) 22:39, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Our paths crossed 12 years ago on WP

Hi, you talked to me about assuming good faith. Well, it's 12 years later and I invite you to see what had happened to the Falun Gong and organ harvesting articles. Have a great day :D Bobby fletcher (talk) 03:01, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
