I am not sure whether I should end up here, but I pass all the criteria for not being elsewhere, and I am sure one of you will point me elsewhere. So, thanks and apologies in advance and I make this longer in case it is easier for you to pass it on.

If a request is too complicated or I'm not familiar enough with the topic, should I respond letting them know this, or should I just ignore the request and wait for (and if) someone else to answer? ] (]) 05:41, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
I am a reasonably experienced editor just grappling with template syntax, or transclusion syntax. I am a computer programmer of about 25 years so am reasonably happy with syntax, I just have made some stupid error somewhere I can' spot.

:Generally best to ignore such requests. When pages are protected, they are often for very good reasons and you don’t want to bypass that protection without good cause. ]&thinsp;] 05:46, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
I have just started making a couple of templates: {{tlx|KSH2008}} in the Template space (yeah, I should have done it in user space but it was doing no harm there) which is useful in Hungarian infoboxes to reference Hungarian template data. I am now working on an "inherited" infobox at ] and it is going quite nicely, but passing data on to {{tlx|KSH2008}} I cannot get it right. The relevant bit of the template is this:

== Vandalism edits ==
<code><nowiki>
|area_footnotes = {{#if:{{{ksh_code_2008|}}}
|<ref name="KSH2008">{{KSH2008|{{{ksh_code_2008|}}}

}}
</nowiki></code>

Is there a dedicated AN or other board for requesting deletion of specific edits (not related to personal information, just vandalism)? Would I just go straight to ]? Asking in context of looking to wipe the ES of a decade old single-edit account's ]. ] (]) 09:22, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
The aim of this is that, if ksh_code_2008 is given to the "Hungarian settlement" template, it passes it on to KSH2008 as the census code for the place, and creates a reference for it ({{tlx|KSH2008}} uses {{tlx|cite}}). (I appreciate that it is probably not good form to name a reference that then ends up named in the article editor's namespace, but that is not the point right now; several sections of the infobox use it but only one defines it, so unless an editor has the bloody-mindedness to call a reference KSH2008 all is well.)

:I'm curious as to how you found that edit that's over 11 years old. ] (]) 09:25, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
But I cannot get {{tlx|Hungarian settlement}} to pass it on to {{tlx|KSH2008}}. I know it's coming through that code because I get ''something'', i.e. what KSH2008 does without parameters, go to the main Hungarian census page. There is probably something very obviously wrong with this syntax but as far as I can tell by reading I have got it all right. What it does is that KSH2008 believes that ksh_code_2008 is blank, even though it cannot be to have passed the top #if, and I have put in test code to ensure it is not blank. If I replace the parameters with literal text, all is well. I am very puzzled as obviously I am doing something wrong and is probably very simple but I cannot understand what.

I apologize if this question is in the wrong place as I'm unsure really where to ask this.. I'll mention just a little bit of history about the user to make this question make sense... there is a user on[REDACTED] who was banned from a fansite of a cartoon. They were permanently banned for harassing members. Three days after their ban from the fansite, they removed the link (an external link) to the fansite off of the article for the cartoon, claiming it was at the request of the fansite's owner (which the person they are referring to is not the owner). I very surely believe this to be in retaliation to their ban and thus, in my opinion, would constitute as an act of vandalism.

Am I wrong about if this is vandalism, or am I correct? And if I am correct, what should I do to go about preventing the user from doing it again? As the editor in question appears to have only done this the one time, although it ''could'' count as vandalism, it was reverted by you (albeit belatedly) - a one-off piece of vandalism doesn't necessarily even need a warning, yet alone reporting. Should there be further instances of vandalism by the editor, they can be dealt with.

:::I appreciate everyone's replies (and thank you for the edit of the signature on my first message, Phantomsteve!). And yes, that is the article. I do actually remember more content being on the page before talking about information about the boxset, in which the external link was in place as an official reference source to what was stated about the boxset, though I don't know how far back that was lost in the edits. But I am curious then...If both the external link is removed by the user and the link has to be placed back in repeatedly, it would be vandalism then on the part of the user who continually removes it? Or would that be evidence of it (and possibly after repeated instances of it something would or could be done)? I am a bit unclear on when in this instance it would be considered vandalism and therefore can have action of some kind taken.

:From the looks of the deleted article (as one of Misplaced Pages's admins, I have access to deleted articles), it looks like the primary purpose of the deleted article was to promote a florist shop. It described the products offered and the history of the florist shop to a detail that only an employee or associate of the shop would know, which would lead one to believe that the article was created by someone who was such an employee or associate; as such, it seems that someone who is too closely associated with the shop has created the article (see ]), and such a person would be using Misplaced Pages to promote their shop. Additionally, there is no evidence that the article would even come close to meeting Misplaced Pages's inclusion criteria (See ]), so it does appear that the article was deleted within policy (see ]). --]''''']''''' 05:43, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

:('''e/c''') It did indeed read as fairly blatant advertising stumping for the store. The text read very much as a brochure or website for the company might, listing incentive programs, why it's great and so on and, lo and behold, it ''is the text from website of the company''. As such it was also properly deleted as a blatant copyright infringement of under ] as that external page is clearly marked as copyrighted. ==How to...==
I've noticed the super bowl logo[REDACTED] has is the wrong logo. On the super bowl 44 website the logo is different. The football between the field goal thing on[REDACTED] has the middle line of the football going all the way down while on the website the line doesn't go all the way down. also the logo should be darker. Here is the logo with the white background:

]

Sedna10387 11:44, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
:That logo looks the same as the logo displayed on http://www.superbowl44.com. Any differences, if they even exist, are incredibly trivial and it's probably not worth another upload. I think any differences you are seeing is because the currently uploaded logo is of much higher resolution than the one on the website. (Also, I don't think fair use images can be displayed in non-article-space, so I changed the thumbnail into a link.) ] / ] / 12:09, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

But you have to look at the football! It's a different football. See:

] (Misplaced Pages's logo) ] (Newer version)

Sedna10387 16:12, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

:OK, this time you actually linked to what you call the wrong logo and I see the difference. But it's a small difference, a Google image search indicates many sites use the same version as Misplaced Pages (I don't know the origin of that version), and your jpg version has lower image quality than the svg version (] is designed for photos and often give poor quality for drawings). By the way, your ] should link to your user page or user talk page. == Trubar in Slovene ==

There is a detailed article about Primoz Trubar in the Slovene language (and of course articles abot him in English and other languages). In am the international coordinator for the Trubar Forum, www.primoztrubar.si, a non-profit organizaion committed to translating Trubar into modern Slovene and other languages. Last year I had made some changes, additions, to reflect the publication of his works in modern Slovene for the first time on the Slovene language page - http://sl.wikipedia.org/Primo%C5%BE_Trubar. They were there for a while, but then disappeared (they remain on he English language page - http://en.wikipedia.org/Primo%C5%BE_Trubar).

Ever since then this notice comes up when I try to edit:

Rough translation: You don't have permission to edit this page, because of the following reason: This page has been locked for verification of editing. You can look at and copy the content of this page.

Now the Trubar Forum is publishing the first Slovene book, Trubar's 1550 Catechism, and of course this historic fact should be known. But I can't even add in our website.

Who has control over this page? How has the authority to lock or unlock it? Was there some complaint? Am I the only one locked out? In the page history, I can see several people have access to making changes to it. Tracing a comment

Hello, I have a trival WP:RTP hangup. I can't find the source of 63.98.140.237's comment that appears in this page creation, which is sourced from this page. Leaving a message in case any WikiWizards know a quick method to search historical WP other than Special:Search (no result for me other than the copied destination). (Were IP contributions not recorded in Sep '03?) Tule-hog (talk) 02:24, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

@Tule-hog: If you click View logs for this page in the page history then it shows a deletion in 2006. As an administrator I can see the deleted edits which include the edit by the IP. BoNoMoJo copy-pasted and redirected Talk:Inductive reasoning in 2003. The copy was later moved back to the original title. PrimeHunter (talk) 03:11, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

    Answering extended confirmed requests

If a request is too complicated or I'm not familiar enough with the topic, should I respond letting them know this, or should I just ignore the request and wait for (and if) someone else to answer? Wikieditor662 (talk) 05:41, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

Generally best to ignore such requests. When pages are protected, they are often for very good reasons and you don’t want to bypass that protection without good cause. TiggerJay(talk) 05:46, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

    Vandalism edits

Is there a dedicated AN or other board for requesting deletion of specific edits (not related to personal information, just vandalism)? Would I just go straight to WP:AIV? Asking in context of looking to wipe the ES of a decade old single-edit account's "contribution". Tule-hog (talk) 09:22, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

I'm curious as to how you found that edit that's over 11 years old. 331dot (talk) 09:25, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
Testing on that page, but this is just a specific example I had on hand of a question I've had come up before. Tule-hog (talk) 09:29, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
(ec)The edit was blanked shortly after it was made, and there's nothing there that needs a WP:REVDEL. Meters (talk) 09:31, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
REVDEL was what I was failing to recall, thanks. WP:CRD basically addresses my question. Tule-hog (talk) 09:39, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
Vandalism simply gets deleted. AIV is for reporting persistent vandals for blocks. Meters (talk) 09:33, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

Short description overridden at Lambda-CDM model

I edited the short description of Lambda-CDM model, but the page continues to show the old short description. What is overriding the explicit short description? rblv (talk) 13:43, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

@Rublov: Try WP:PURGE. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:23, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
    Didn't work. rblv (talk) 16:48, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
That's a weird one. The short description that you added is visible to me, but above it is a short description that isn't formatted like anything I've seen before. It has an edit function to its right, which brings up a pop-up editing window. The source for it doesn't appear in the wikitext, so I can't figure out where it's coming from. Schazjmd (talk) 17:04, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
It's because it transcludes the lead section of Axis of evil (cosmology). —Cryptic 17:09, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
Well spotted. That was exactly it.
For future reference, putting the short description of Axis of evil (cosmology) in <noinclude> didn't work, but creating a named section excluding the short description and transcluding that at Lambda-CDM model did. rblv (talk) 19:14, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

    Strange situation in someone's userpage

(I am deliberately not linking to the page in question as this question involves G10/RD2 content)

I have come across a userpage made recently. The person wrote an attack page as their userpage and then blanked it. A check through the history shows no content worth saving. Is it still eligible for G10 or should it be RevDell'ed instead? QwertyForest (talk) 14:41, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

If you don't want to link to the page, I suggest that you follow WP:REVDELREQUEST and request either G10 or RD2, then the responding admin can decide. TSventon (talk) 15:13, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

    Access to ProQuest

Per WP:URLACCESS, "Links inserted by named identifiers are presumed to lie behind a paywall or registration barrier" in which case it should be indicated when there is free access. However, I don't see a URL access indicator for ProQuest. Typically, I'd add ProQuest using the ID parameter and Template:ProQuest. I noticed that the template documentation says "the access status of the linked document is not reflected in the |url-access= parameter", which I assumed meant that there was no way of indicating the access level within the template. I added the parameter to the ProQuest template for the first source cited at Forest 404 and it seems to have worked fine. Did I add it correctly? Is this the correct way to indicate the access level of a ProQuest URL? TipsyElephant (talk) 18:15, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

    TWL access to Newspapers.com

Foreign language citation in English articles?

I was reading an English article and was unsatisfied with the amount of information, so I switched it to Spanish (a language I can read) and found a lot more info there. If I wanted to write some of that into the English article for those who can't read Spanish, would it be appropriate to still use the Spanish-language citations? Qqars (talk) 02:34, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

Hi Qqars. The sources cited on English Misplaced Pages articles do not have to be written in English themselves. But if you wish to use them here, it is your responsibility to double-check that they actually do support the content you write. Sometimes a ref might be incorrect in one place, and then copied to somewhere else in a way that spreads the mistake even more widely. That happens even in English sources, but copying between different[REDACTED] sites seems to be more prone to it. DMacks (talk) 02:38, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
What DMacks says. Additionally, remember that a lack of information in an English-language article doesn't necessarily reflect a lack of English-language sources; it may instead reflect a lack of energy for looking for those English-language sources that do exist. -- Hoary (talk) 02:42, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
@Qqars: I would encourage the use of the trans-title parameter when citing a non-English source. Fabrickator (talk) 06:53, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

    Content of a filmography

I'm looking at the page of a director and their filmography a number of items described as "documentary installation" which I assume are a form of video installation. Do these belong on a filmography? The filmography also contains standard films. Also, this filmography contains a number of short films for which I can find few, if any sources. Do items on a filmography have to be notable? Truthnope (talk) 04:12, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

Can you give us a link to the page ? Anatole-berthe (talk) 09:00, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
Tina Gharavi. For full disclosure, the IP address that made the recent edits on that page are mine. I only started using this account recently. Truthnope (talk) 09:34, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
I don't know if there are an official policy about cite films that aren't notable in the filmography of someone who is notable. Anatole-berthe (talk) 10:17, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

IMO, filmography entries don't have to be notable. I've added shorts lacking articles just for completeness. I'm not so sure about documentary installations, whatever those are. Clarityfiend (talk) 04:24, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

    Citing CVs?

For biographies of academics, is their CV considered sufficient to cite for things like editor positions or honors? Mcavoybickford (talk) 12:51, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

Per WP:PROPORTION, just because something is on their CV, it shouldn't necessarily be in the WP-article. See also WP:ABOUTSELF. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:07, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
This isn't my claim. My question is whether a CV can function as a citation for the kind of information that belongs in an article. Mcavoybickford (talk) 13:21, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
Hello, @Mcavoybickford. Non-independent sources may be cited for certain kinds of information - see WP:SPS. They do not contribute to establishing notability, and the existence of a source is only one of the considerations which goes into decideing whether a matter should be mentioned in an article or not. ColinFine (talk) 15:23, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
A cite to the website or other publication of the awarding body might be better. That provides a way for readers ro learn about the context of the award, which can be important because sometimes different awards have similar names for various reasons and a CV entry might not use a precise enough wording to prevent confusion. Vandal templates on shared IPs

Hello, I have tagged 92.43.71.70 with {{uw-vandalism4}} after a recent unexplained blanking. I noticed the talk page is flush with historical warnings, but it seems like users would start back from 1 each time. Am I using the template incorrectly (i.e. since 5 years have passed, just start back at 1)? I was under the impression we use the next template in the sequence from whatever is on the page already (assuming no intermediary intervention/discussion). Perhaps proxy accounts have special status? Tule-hog (talk) 18:40, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

Hello, @Tule-hog. There's not much point in putting warnings on IP talk pages anyway, unless there is evidence that the same person is using that IP for a period. But I certainly don't think there's any point in putting a high-level warning, even if the previous warning was only a couple of weeks ago, because it's unlikely that the same person will see it. (Do IPs even get notified of messages on their talk pages? I don't know). ColinFine (talk) 19:31, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for reply. In future on IP talk pages lacking evidence of same person throughout, I will only increase vandal template warning if within the same month and I won't go higher than 3. (Template has been useful for me in past as quick check if other users have undone edits that didn't get marked 'Reverted' upon fix.) I took this case to WP:AIV as all edits appear consistently WP:NOTHERE. Tule-hog (talk) 20:53, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

how to check the status of a pending extended-confirmed-protected edit request

Where do I go to check the status of a pending edit request for an extended-confirmed-protected page? Kenfree (talk) 21:26, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

You just go back to the page you made the request on to see if it has been edited. 331dot (talk) 21:37, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
Sorry, where do I find the backlog of protected edit requests to see where one is in the queue? Kenfree (talk) 22:01, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
See the list at Category:Misplaced Pages extended-confirmed-protected edit requests. TSventon (talk) 22:04, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

    Middleton family

Reference number 191 is in red - I have got it all wrong and I get confused. Please repair the damage. I am sorry Srbernadette (talk) 06:29, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

Srbernadette Fixed, you had written the year in the access date as "20025". Respectfully, you make this specific error quite often; you probably just hit the zero twice by accident. When this happens the red message says "check date values in accces-date", to identify where exactly the issue is. 331dot (talk) 07:08, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
On the phenomenon of the frequent occurrence of specific kinds of error, Srbernadette: On 12 October, Tenryuu suggested to you that "you should consider writing down what other editors have been saying so that you have a 'common mistakes made' note that you can reference to the side of whatever device you're using." If you didn't implement that then, perhaps you could implement it now. -- Hoary (talk) 11:09, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

    Whitespace on top of page

The page Vishwaroopam controversies displays a line of whitespace on top of the article. Why is that there, and how can it be removed? Truthnope (talk) 08:16, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

phone keyboard constantly recentering the screen

I am trying to edit pages on my Samsung S22 but opening the keyboard will forcefully recenter the screen every couple seconds, making it impossible to see what I'm typing. Sometimes it closes the keyboard entirely.

This problem persists even if I use the "desktop site" option in mobile. I'm using Firefox.

Any solutions? Scuttlebug Jam (talk) 12:17, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

Not had this issue on my A15 (Chrome). Odd. Could you switch to Gboard? JayCubby 14:41, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
I have the same problem with Firefox while using other websites. I think it's Firefox's issue. Tutwakhamoe (talk) 15:19, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
@Scuttlebug Jam, Using Chrome on Android and been through that, but now i am the boss (feeling so). Basically i avoid that by going top again. Ok, simply whenever i enter something, that text hide itself and next line appear at top most screen, at that moment i just scroll to top of the screen (top of the section) and then again scroll to that particular line, and guess what - no issue. try once.––kemel49 17:01, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

    Category history

If you add a category to your watchlist, it notifies you when pages are added to or removed from that category. The category history (View History tab) does not show this information, however, as it only includes changes to the category page itself. How would I see the history of additions/removals for any category (regardless of whether it is on my watchlist)? Is it available? If a category suddenly got bigger or smaller, it would be useful to see which pages had been added or removed. --Jameboy (talk) 17:30, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

    Image

While visiting the page This Must Be the Place (film), I noticed this image: . The source says "Facebook" but the link is not accessible: . The image caption states: "Teaser poster of This Must Be the Place"; but a reverse Google Image brings up Pinterest Paper Cuts of similar sayings: . I'm not sure how to put up an image for deletion; but I think this is not what it purports to be. Maineartists (talk) 23:24, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

Is there another, more stable source (there are usually those that hold images of film posters)? Generally, this would go to Files for discussion or Deletion requests on Commons. But preferably look for one that is fair use. 2601AC47 (talk·contribs·my rights) Isn't a IP anon 23:38, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
OK. Thanks. Taking it to Deletion requests on Commons. This is not a poster for the film ("early" or otherwise). Obviously this was a hoax of some sorts. Maineartists (talk) 00:00, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

This was much harder than I expected. WP does not make it easy to simply place an image up for requested deletion! Yeesh! I placed the required template on the image page here: , but from there on it's just a big mess. As instructed: and then listed: ; but it does not seem to be correct. I have successfully placed several articles up for AfD but this one threw me. What did I do wrong? TIA. Maineartists (talk) 00:36, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

@Maineartists: The file is uploaded at the English Misplaced Pages (because it's non-free) and not Commons so a deletion discussion should be here and not at Commons. PrimeHunter (talk) 00:51, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Maineartists, I suggest that you reverse your edits so far and follow the process at Misplaced Pages:Files for discussion. TSventon (talk) 01:06, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Already done. I was only following the advice / directions given above. Guess I should have gone to FfD first. Thank you, TSventon for linking the process. I had no idea what "so a deletion discussion should be here" meant. Heading there now. This was a first for me. Now I know. Maineartists (talk) 01:13, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
@Maineartists: it's confusing if you are not a copyright expert (neither am I). You are more likely to get specialist advice at Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. TSventon (talk) 01:23, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Thanks. This one had nothing to do with copyright. The image was not what it purported it to be: . The uploader has a history of uploading questionable images to WP with numerous deletions and violations in their history; without any response on their Talk Page to notifications. The image in question has been removed from the article and successfully placed for FfD. Thanks again. Maineartists (talk) 01:31, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
The nomination looks fine. Media Copyright Questions is a place for help with image copyrights, tagging, non-free content, and related questions so I think this query would have been in scope. TSventon (talk) 01:55, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Default alt text for image not appearing in article

As you can see I added alt text to the structured data of https://commons.wikimedia.org/File:Greenhouse_gas_emission_and_absorption_by_Turkey.svg

But when I use https://www.w3.org/WAI/test-evaluate/easy-checks/image-alt/ to check

    https://en.wikipedia.org/Greenhouse_gas_emissions_by_Turkey#Monitoring,_reporting_and_verification

    I cannot see it.

This is the first time I tried to use default alt text so perhaps I have missed something? Chidgk1 (talk) 06:40, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

I don't think you can add alt text to the image itself (i.e., on commons). Alt text is used in an article when you add the image. Otherwise all the different Wikipedias would be stuck with the same wording and language for the alt text. Meters (talk) 07:27, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

i want to post my content in draft

I am planning to edit my Misplaced Pages content based on the guidelines, but I am unsure how to move it to the draft space. Julynoeh (talk) 07:05, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

It can simply be moved to the draft space by any autoconfirmed user, which you are. See WP:MOVE, but if you mean your content in User:Julynoeh/sandbox, there's little point moving it to Draft. That draft has already been rejected by User:Rusalkii, not just declined, and a rejected draft usually should not be resubmitted. See WP:AFCREVIEW Meters (talk) 07:21, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Inter-language Links in Coding for the German and French Misplaced Pages Severs.

I know how to write an inter-language link to produce a broken link in an English article to a page that does not exist on the English server, but does exist in a foreign language Misplaced Pages server:
    French:{{ill|Conann|lt=Conann|fr|Conann (film)}}, i.e. Conann
    German:{{ill|Conann|lt=Meeples' Choice Award|de|Meeples' Choice Award}}, i.e. Meeples' Choice Award
However, I would like to know the reciprocal German and French coding to do the same thing, i.e. link to a Misplaced Pages article that does not exist on that respective language Misplaced Pages server, i.e. the French or German server, but does exist in the English server:
    French: ?
    German: ?
Does anyone know if such coding exists and whether there are help pages on the French and German server for this coding? SMargan (talk) 08:55, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

@SMargan: you can check the Wikidata item d:Q13606208. fr:Modèle:Lien exists, but no de equivalent. You could ask at de:Misplaced Pages:Fragen zur Misplaced Pages whether they have anything similar. TSventon (talk) 09:17, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
@SMargan: Each Misplaced Pages language makes its own policies. The German Misplaced Pages has decided to not allow such links in articles. See de:Hilfe:Internationalisierung#Im Text sichtbare Interwiki-Links. PrimeHunter (talk) 10:17, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Request for Guidance on Article Review

    Hello Team,

I have been submitting the article for review for the past three days, but it is still showing as a draft, with no violations indicated on the talk page. Following Misplaced Pages guidelines, I disclosed that this is a paid contribution and added the following statement to my user page:

"This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that they have been paid by ZAPTA Technologies on behalf of Nasir Ali for their contributions to Misplaced Pages."

I have published this article without any charges. Could you please advise on the next steps?

    Best regards,
