Welcome to Misplaced Pages. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Internet do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Misplaced Pages is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Misplaced Pages uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Versageek 04:56, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Muhammad Sayyid Tantawy, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Misplaced Pages:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Tommy2010 02:38, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

August 2010

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Habiba Sarabi, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. Deconstructhis (talk) 20:33, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Looking over a smattering of your recent edits at least two major issues are apparent:
  1. Removal of large chunks of material, either referenced or not, needs to be accompanied with an explanation for the removal. While the intent may be to improve articles by removing tangential material or unneeded detail, constantly doing this can be seen as disruptive.
  2. Applying phrases, wording, or structure that impart a subjective POV push. Misplaced Pages articles are supposed to be presented as neutrally as possible, skewing the text should never be done. Also, some of the material you've added reads as your interpretation of material. This is contrary to WP:OR - as an editor you don't get to write, or re-write, an article to present your conclusions. Again, even if the intent is to improve the articles this is not allowable under Misplaced Pages guidelines and policy. And taken with the above concern, consistent editing in this mater not only will look like disruptive, but can be taken as vandalism.
Please keep these concerns in mind as you edit. And please, use edit summaries.
Thanks,
