'''Holland Landing Public School''' is an ]. It is one of two ] located in the town of ], ], ], and serves students in Junior Kindergarten through grade 8. {{As of|2000}} there were 525 students enrolled. {{As of|2008}} the principal is Mr. Bill Cober. It is part of ].

==History==
Holland Landing Public School first opened in 1879 in a frame building on Peter Street. After the building was destroyed by fire on January 8, 1912, school was held in the town hall and then in a new one-room school, which had expanded to two rooms by 1930.

The school building was renovated in 1950 to add several more classrooms. During that decade several rooms in the basement were also turned into classrooms.

By the mid 1960s, the school was facing overcrowding for several reasons, including the closure of ].

By 1979, the school had become run down, and a new Holland Landing Public School was constructed at 16 Holland River Boulevard.

==Activities==
This school has many extra curricular activities, such as track and field, cross country, soccer, basketball, arts and crafts, chess, volleyball, cheerleading, and a student committee, school beautification, and instrumental music. Students can access the library during their recess and lunch hours.
