In the later life section, I have twice corrected "was survived" to "is survived". The latter is most definitely correct - they are still live so they survive him (present tense), therefore, he is survived by them (present tense). I also corrected "preceded him in death" (which sounds like something from a tombstone) to the less euphemistic "predeceased". – ] (]) 19:04, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Minor grammatical nitpick

In the later life section, I have twice corrected "was survived" to "is survived". The latter is most definitely correct - they are still live so they survive him (present tense), therefore, he is survived by them (present tense). I also corrected "preceded him in death" (which sounds like something from a tombstone) to the less euphemistic "predeceased". – ukexpat (talk) 19:04, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

John S. Loisel

There are no disambiguous links, all the external links and references check. All references have publisher, title and accessdate. I ran the article through AWB and didn't find anything meaningful there but I went ahead and made the changes and combined the portals into a portal box and added one for WWII, I hope you don't mind. There is one reference in the lede and typically using refs in the lede are discouraged per the MOS because the info should be in the article and referenced but thats really the only thing I see so I am passing it as a good article. Good Job. --Kumioko (talk) 14:21, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
