== National Express West Midlands Scania Omnilinks ==
: Since this image can also be seen used prior to it being uploaded to Misplaced Pages and there’s no indication it’s been released under a CC-by-4.0 license, some sort of more formal verification is going to be needed to verify copyright authorship and consent. There are a couple of ways to do this if you’re the person who took this photo, but the easiest is to probably follow the instructions given above. — ] (]) 01:10, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

== ] moved to draftspace ==
In regard to the 60x National Express West Midlands Scania Omnilinks due later this year.
The following is what I have heard is happening ...
*Walsall routes 301, 311 and 313 = about 25 buses
*West Bromwich routes 404 and 404A = about 15 buses
*Coventry routes 20, 30A, 30C, 40, 50 and 60 = about 15 buses
*Pensnett unknown route(s) = about 5 buses
This still could dramatically change though, its a case of waiting and seeing.
Sorry is this disappoints you ;-) BUT apparently another 60x are on order for 2009. ] (]) 15:41, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

:Thanks for your response, I have been given an UPDATE today which is : NXWM are now only having 30x Omnilinks for this year, 15 at Coventry and 15 at West Bromwich .... to get "one up" on competitors Stagecoach and "Red" Diamond. Thanks for telling me about this, as I hadn't realised and thought it was a horrible americanisation. I have been thinking about it, and surely if "Line 33" is such a strong brand, then the article should be called something like "Line 33 (National Express West Midlands route)"? I moved it to keep it in line with the standard routes, after all it's not a "Premier route" is it? Another reason I moved it was that it said the link to the UK Transport Wiki was "National Express West Midlands route 33", although I have just discovered this is incorrect. <font color="#FF0000">]</font><font color="#800080">]</font> 17:28, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:A Selwyns Coaches Bus operating on a GNW route.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:A Selwyns Coaches Bus operating on a GNW route.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Misplaced Pages. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:29, 6 April 2022 (UTC)

The same thing pretty much also applies to File:A Midland Classic bus in Manchester.jpg. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:33, 6 April 2022 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:A Midland Classic bus in Manchester.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:A Midland Classic bus in Manchester.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:03, 7 April 2022 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:A MP Travel bus operating route 41.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:A MP Travel bus operating route 41.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Misplaced Pages's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Marchjuly (talk) 01:10, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

Since this image can also be seen used here prior to it being uploaded to Misplaced Pages and there’s no indication it’s been released under a CC-by-4.0 license, some sort of more formal verification is going to be needed to verify copyright authorship and consent. There are a couple of ways to do this if you’re the person who took this photo, but the easiest is to probably follow the instructions given above. — Marchjuly (talk) 01:10, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

2022–23 EFL Cup moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, 2022–23 EFL Cup, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Misplaced Pages). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Misplaced Pages's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Proposed deletion of File:NationalExpressWestMidlands33.jpg

Notice

The file File:NationalExpressWestMidlands33.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned Image

While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Kick Sauber C44

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kick Sauber C44 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://allglobal.net/info/Kick-Sauber-C44. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines.
