If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. I don't know why you've changed the ] page. The information is correct--early systems in the 1990s used "micropayment" to mean really, really small transactions (a few cents, for example). Hello Hmbr, you linked ] as the group suspected of the bombings in the early 50s. ::Mossad LeAliyah Bet was an organization that preceded today's Mossad. In texts dealing with this period, "Mossad" refers to Mossad LeAliyah Bet. --] (]) 16:45, 7 April 2010 (UTC) | |||
:::Part of that is correct. However, Morris specifically names both the Mossad and the Mossad LeAliyah Bet, not one or the other, so to say that when he writes "Mossad and/or the Mossad LeAliyah Bet" that he only means "Mossad LeAliyah Bet" is plainly incorrect. I would just like you to know that if you ever create another article like that, I will block you. WP:BLP compliant my arse. Guy (Help!) 23:01, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

Timeline of the region of Palestine
Since I know you have a lot of knowledge in the subject matter I would gladly appreciate any help you can provide in improving this article (which I have recently created). TheCuriousGnome (talk) 14:23, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Micropayment
I don't know why you've changed the Micropayment page. The information is correct--early systems in the 1990s used "micropayment" to mean really, really small transactions (a few cents, for example). These systems were unsuccessful, and today the word means transactions of a few dollars. Fleetham (talk) 14:07, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
Response
I don't know if I can provide a source, but it's obvious that the sentence is true. Look at the "Early systems" section. Do you have any comments? Fleetham (talk) 19:17, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Please explain to me the reason for this edit of yours. Better still, why not comment at the rfc. Thanks. Chesdovi (talk) 00:34, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for adding this to the Kingdom of Judah article. It is a a great addition - perhaps you can also add some stuff about it to the archaeology section that I was working on. BTW, I noticed you also removed some unneeded discussion that an editor was attempting to place in an infobox (at Economy of Israel). I have having a similar argument with an editor trying to introduce a POV into another infobox, regarding the capital of East Germany (was Berlin recognized or not). I wonder if you could voice an opinion on that discussion here: http://en.wikipedia.org/Talk:East_Germany#Capital_city Jeff Song (talk) 17:15, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the nice feedback, Jeff. I will try to add some info to the Kingdom of Judah article. Unfortunately, i'm no expert in East Germany history, so I'm afraid I will not be able to contribute to the discussion. Best, Hmbr (talk) 00:36, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Back ground section (Operation Protective Edge)
Hi! thanks for your cooperation. I noticed your edition in Operation Protective Edge. You'd moved the materials of background section to the lead section mentioning the importance of it. But, I reckon, you forgot the characteristics of the lead section. It's good to mention a brief background in the lead section but not the detailed events. So, we need to bring the backgrounds both in the lead (briefly) and in "Background" (in detail). I'll take care of that. Mhhossein (talk) 07:56, 13 July 2014 (UTC)

This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet that was created to violate Misplaced Pages policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sockpuppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. Hmbr (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I am writing to challenge the block on my Misplaced Pages account. As an editor with 17 years of experience, primarily in the Hebrew Misplaced Pages, the claim of being a sockpuppet is baseless and surprising.
I have consistently followed Misplaced Pages's guidelines and this accusation is unfounded. My intention is to resolve this issue quickly and return to contributing to the platform. I’m not editing under any other name.
If this issue is related to an accusation that was made recently alleging somebody canvassed me for a vote, I can honestly assure you this was not the case - and surely this cannot be a justification to call me a ”sockpuppet” and block me indefinitely, weeks later, out of the blue and with no warning.
Decline reason:
"I may be familiar" is evasive, doesn't really answer my question, and seems like an understatement in light of the private evidence. It's your prerogative to not be forthcoming about that, but you can't then also show up to the unban request alongside another previously largely inactive user with an undisclosed connection and assert a complete coincidence after the fact. --Blablubbs (talk) 14:28, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- To be clear: Your contention is that your participation at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive356#User:Gilabrand unblock request was not motivated by off-wiki connections/communications with one or more of the other people involved there? --Blablubbs (talk) 12:38, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- I may be familiar with other editors that participated in the discussion but there is nothing wrong with that, and there was no canvassing involved. I discovered the existence of a discussion through the notice on the editor’s talk page. I have also reviewed the Misplaced Pages Blocking Policy Misplaced Pages:Blocking policy and believe there is no basis for an indefinite block. At most, my vote could be disregarded (and correct me if wrong but consensus is not a numeric “vote”). My actions have been in good faith, aiming to contribute constructively to the Misplaced Pages community by acknowledging the positive contributions of an editor who has been a valuable asset to the community. Hmbr (talk) 22:49, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
{{unblock|If I may ask again, I am not a sockpuppet but a veteran editor with no other identities and no previous history of blocks or edit wars. It seems this is agreed upon, although the title of this discussion still claims for some reason that I'm a sock puppet, which no one actually claims I am. Can you explain which rule, according to ], justifies indefinitely blocking me? And what do I need to do to be unblocked in order to continue to edit? I really find it hard to believe that because of this incident I'm accused of using fake identities or editing in a way that isn't in good faith. I can promise never to vote in any discussion, my interest is only in editing articles, as I've been doing for the last 17 years, not get into any fight. Even if I had a mistake joining this vote, is it reasonable to completely block me from editing and contributing for good? --~~~~}}
- Hmbr (and Atbannett), I would recommend emailing the Arbitration Committee, as this is a private evidence block. That way, you can probably at least see the evidence against you. If you have any questions about the process (or anything else), my inbox is open as well :) theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 07:00, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
