The reason is that a Misplaced Pages biography of a living person must only contain verifiable information, and must cite reliable independent sources for anything that may be disputed. The article should not be a panegyric, and should not include information for which no source is provided. http://damishisango.com/the-man/ does not qualify as a reliable independent source. By all means add information to the article, citing the source for that information.
