I think it should be at the singular in this case: note ] and ]. Although looking at other examples is never a definitive test, I suggest the following points (following ]):
* It isn't a term that's always referred to by its plural form, and grammatical niceties don't apply here.
* I can imagine a case where people would want to write ].
* Although it may seem analogous to the example given on languages, the characteristic of those articles is that they discuss the group (the language group) together with an examination of the component parts of the group (some mention of each language in the language group). However, in this case, the analogous situation would be for the ] article to list all Chinese characters and provide a link to them. A better view of the article in question is that it discusses the charactertics of a ], providing just a few examples along the way. It's like ], which is at the singular; there are many Chinese radicals, yet singular is suitable here.
Admittedly, this is a borderline case, but one that I think falls on the side of the singular argument. In any case, I think we should follow precedent with established articles ] and ]. Hope to see you on Sunday. ] (]) 12:18, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi again Esperanzians! Well, since our last frolic in the realms of news, the Advisory Council has met twice more (see ''']''' and ''']'''). As a result, '''] has been ammended''' twice (see for details) and all of the shortcuts have been standardised (see the ] for more details). Also of note is the '''Valentines ball''' that will take place in on the 14th of February (tomorrow). It will start at 6pm UTC and go on until everyone's had enough! I hope to see you all there! Also, '''the spamlist has been dissolved''' - all Esperanzians will now recieve this update "newsletter".

--] ] 16:10, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
The other major notice I need to tell you about is the upcoming ''']'''. These will take place from '''12:00 UTC on ]th to 11:59 UTC on ]th'''. The official handing-over will take place the following day. Candidates are able to volunteer any time before the 20th, so long as they are '''already listed on ]'''. Anyone currently listed on the memberlist can vote. In a change since last time, ''if you have already been a member of the leadership, you may run again''. Due to the neutrality precident, I will not vote for anyone.

So both 傑 and 杰 are traditional characters, and 杰 is the simplified version for both of those characters? CoSport

A tag has been placed on CoSport, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Celebrate Humanity

The article Celebrate Humanity has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Misplaced Pages:General notability guideline and the more detailed Misplaced Pages:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
