:Agree, mead replaced by wine? Mead IS a wine, a pale dry one. Decades to ferment? I made 5x5 gallon carboys of it. Primary, secondary, aged for 5 years. Exposed honey is subject to the batch-killing "wine flower" mold. ] (]) 22:15, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
