The early replacement of ] and nothing officially was announced, it was based on Ian Fleming's short story '']'' with the plotline expanded and involved with other unseen elements from ] novels written by Ian Fleming himself. It was set to star ] as Bond in an original storyline developed by both ] and ] studios. However, it was canceled in late 2009. Only some screenshots were hit on the internet and many canceled main-title sequences are shown, rumours say that the plot was involved with diamond smugglers, or with oil-problem. There is currently a video game being developed by Raven Software, however it is not known if it is going to be ''Risico'' or a sequel to ], or if it is a video game based on the untitled ''Bond 23''.

An upcoming ''007'' video game has been gotten out of ice, and is developing by ], powered by ]. Previously, the project was titled ''Risico'', based on ]'s '']'' short story of ]. Prior to the official word, several leaked photos were uncovered by ] website have uncovered leaks depicting a possible new game in the ''Bond'' series is currently being developed by ]. When ] have been restructured, ] announced ] and Activision themselves gave Raven Software green lights to continue the project and announced that a new ''Bond'' game will be released, without giving a proper date but was scheduled for the second half of 2011. It is presumed that it will be Raven's ''Bond'' game but is yet to be confirmed.Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing revealed on a shareholder conference call that further details will be available at E3, stating: "I'm looking forward to updating you on our plans and performance as this exciting year unfolds. And we'll have a lot more details on our upcoming releases to share with you in the coming weeks and in E3.". An exact release date is yet to be revealed.
Like ''Blood Stone'', this iteration appears to be played from the third-person perspective and could include tactical combat similar to recent releases in the '']'' series, namely the '']'' that was released by ]. Not much else is currently known about the status of the game including if it's a straight sequel to ''Blood Stone'' or not.
